A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , implanted on an imposing rock with a unique surroundings and a breathtaking view over the sea the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is inserted . The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.

The location was perfect for us, and the property itself was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy to cook and feel at home. Communication with José was smooth throughout—he was responsive and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. This is the absolute best setting/location. It is part of a larger private property within a VERY short walk to Castelo dos mouros from which you can easily walk to palacio Nacional. Also a quick walk down the hill to amazing food and shops. My only complaint was the hot water was not enough to fill both tubs the morning of our departure, but I enjoyed a cold plunge with a view! Thanks for the hospitality Franco!

Had a lovely stay! The house was nice, well decorated and comfortable. Everything was nearby, which was super convenient. The bed was very comfortable too. I asked for an iron and they kindly provided it, which I really appreciated. Thank you again for the warm welcome!

Lilac Cascais Villa with Swimming Pool

The place has a great location, and the house itself is very nice. We had our full family (7 adults, 3 kids), and the size of the place was just right. It does have some stairs, as it’s three levels and the bedrooms are at the 3rd floor, but if that’s not a problem then it’s hard to find anything negative! Everything is in great condition and very clean. Shops are near, as well as all sights and Cascais. We had our own rental cars but used Uber also for transportation and food. All in all, highly recommended

Very large and comfortable place. It makes you feel right at home. It really has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped (also with spices, oil, etc.) Particularly suitable for families - cot, high chair, baby bath, baby dishes... everything available.
