Cabin holiday rentals in Coachella

Jill’s Wander Wild cabin was everything we were hoping for and more. It was fully stocked, and quiet and only minutes from town. The hot tub was wonderful, the bed was comfy and we absolutely loved listening to nature on the deck and drinking coffee in the mornings. We did a puzzle, listened to some music and just enjoyed the surroundings while we fell in love with the town. We will certainly be back if she’ll have us!

Fantastic getaway in the mountains, next to a babbling brook, with everything you could want. Just a quick trip down to the village but far enough away that it was super quiet. I'd been dreaming of an A frame with giant windows and a patio overlooking the trees and this was exactly it. That, plus the bonus of a cozy place to watch movies and hang out inside. It was my first trip to Idyllwild and I hope to come back again to stay here.

Mathilde & Rudy's place was SPECTACULAR. The house was located on a very private road and was incredibly peaceful. It was such an amazing experience relaxing in the hot tub with the milky way right above us! The hammock was also perfectly placed. The house was super cute, nicely decorated, and very clean. I would definitely use the Waze app when navigating the neighborhood, though, because the directions were more straight forward than google maps. If you are thinking about booking here just do it!

My husband and 2 children loved our stay at Kirstan's cabin! The cabin was comfortable and beautifully designed. There were many fun games both inside and outside the cabin. The outdoor space was huge and fun to explore. The cabin was clean and everything waa easy to find. Kirstan was a very responsive and friendly host. We would love to stay at Kirstan's cabin again on a future visit to Big Bear!

Great spot very quiet and great views the windows in the upstairs loft were great for star gazing. We enjoyed our stay.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. In fact, staying here in this beautiful home and amazing location, it has influenced my boyfriend and I to start our journey with owning an Airbnb! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the squirrels to the hikes, the food!!! Love it, if you have the chance, go!! We can’t wait to visit again 🥹💕

Such a relaxing environment! And when we wanted to be active, hiking trails abound - our favorite was the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee outdoors. Many birds, especially woodpeckers, were active. Sunset over the San Bernardino Forest is marvelous! The plants along the walkway to the hot tub reveal intentionality and a desire to make the entire property unique. The gentle breeze and cool temperatures enhance the experience! This home was everything and more! Every detail was looked after. The views are beautiful. Scott was incredibly responsive to all inquiries! A perfect getaway for my mama friends and I to relax and rejuvenate in a secluded and comfy home. Thank you!

Our family loved staying in the little A Frame! Lots of homey touches & natural decor that was practical and yet beautiful. The town is walkable from the home. Very peaceful location! Host is very responsive. (People with mobility issues would have a hard time with the stairs).

Perfect weekend getaway in the mountains! This 2 bed / 2 bath home was perfect for our little family (2 adults, 10 month old & 2 dogs). Downstairs- 1 bdr, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining & living, sliding door to patio. Upstairs - 1 bdr(no door), 1 bathroom. We brought our own pack&play crib (but we noticed this Airbnb has one too!) & set it up in the downstairs bdr. Note: we also brought our own portable blackout curtains which were much needed. The downstairs bathroom has a tub. Upstairs- the bdr doesn’t have a door but there’s a short mesh safety gate which is perfect for dogs & babies. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. Really appreciated the secure dog run for our dogs! They had no problem going potty out there. Also something to note: there’s a lot of noise outside the house including roosters, woodpeckers that peck at windows, birds and other animals that land on the roof. If you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs. Overall the home was clean & organized.

This place was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more. It was close to everything, but also secluded and relaxing. Definitely would recommend this to everyone.

This was my second time staying at House of Mercury, and once again, I had an incredible experience! The space is deeply peaceful — tucked far enough away to feel like a true retreat, which was exactly what I needed. The house itself is very comfortable and well-equipped, including AC, which was a lifesaver during the hot weather. The fireplace outside was such a beautiful touch, and I felt very safe throughout my stay. Stav and his team were incredibly communicative and thoughtful, making the entire experience seamless. I’m so grateful for this special place and will definitely be returning again.

we’re so glad we stayed at this beautiful cabin! the views from the deck were magical and we were so comfortable. the kitchen was great to cook all our meals and the beds were super comfortable. quiet, peaceful and just what we needed. we will def be back!

This is our 3rd or 4th time here- we just love this Airbnb, truly our favorite! Our doodles have such a big enclosed yard to play- with trees and lots of wildlife all around us. And the prefect view of the Tahquitz rock too! I don’t even look for other Airbnbs anymore in Idyllwild- I just message Ariya and book☺️. The home is always clean with everything we need for cooking and relaxing. I always appreciate the assorted teas from their store as well. This time, we made sure we took advantage of the hot tub after a hike and a run. The bathrobes are always appreciated and even helpful when it got a little chilly at night. Ernie Maxwell trail is just over a mile from the house and my big dog and I hiked/ran there twice- such a beautiful place to take your dog(s). Ariya and Marc are such perfect hosts- always communicating and ensuring we are enjoying our stay. I also appreciated it when Ariya messaged me that I could check in early. Thanks again Ariya! We will be back for Thanksgiving wee

Aradi’s place was cozy and comfortable. The house was clean and fully stocked, with good space. The beds were very comfy and the towels were lovely and fluffy. We had a little ladies getaway and loved sitting outside on the Adirondack chairs and on the deck with our cheese and wine. Aradi messaged back promptly when I had questions before checkin. It was peaceful and quiet and I would totally stay here again!

Loved our stay for a quiet getaway. The cabin was super clean and the views were unmatched. I will say the driveway and stairs inside the cabin were a bit scary but that was all disclosed prior so we knew what to expect. Just beware that both are quite steep. The host was quick to respond for any questions and the check in/out process was super smooth. Would highly recommend this place to stay in Big Bear.

We greatly enjoyed our time at Tim’s cabin! The property matched the description and was in a nice area. Tim offered us insight into the local hiking options and was easy to communicate with. We would stay here again!

What a wonderful experience! We celebrated my son's 15th birthday and our 18 yr anniversary here. My family loves to discover new places and Idyllwild was a place we always wanted to visit. We wanted to stay in an A Frame Cabin and this was perfect! It had great character inside. The decor and ambiance was very nice. Everything was clean and easy to find. The surroundings were perfect! So much nature and the views were astounding! It was also far enough into nature to enjoy the peace but also close enough to town and the hiking trails. We had the perfect time! So happy we found this A-Frame!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy spot! My girlfriend and I spent two beautiful days here and absolutely loved it. The place had a great vibe we especially enjoyed the vinyl player with its awesome collection and the huge selection of board games. It made our evenings super fun and relaxing. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway in Big Bear!!
