Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Clifford Township

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is an absolute gem. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of peace—it’s incredibly tranquil, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, with a running stream just steps from the front door. The home itself strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. Inside, the decor is thoughtful and unique: a nostalgic mix of vintage childhood sports photos, striking modern art, and beautiful antiques. It all blends together to create a space that feels both stylish and deeply personal. The fireplace is a centerpiece—warm, inviting, and stocked with enough firewood to last all summer. This isn’t just a house—it’s a welcoming home. You can feel the care and intention behind every detail. Located just 15 minutes from Bethel Woods, it’s the ideal escape from NYC. I can’t wait to return.

This was not my first stay. Each time I return, there is something wonderously new in the outdoor or indoor space! Such a peaceful setting! one of my very favorite Air bnbs! The Van Scott Nature Conservancy is right down the road. You can walk there or drive. Beautiful walking trails on a preserved farm. Perfect hidden gem! Try the Launderette for a gourmet pizza overlooking the Delaware River in Narrowsburg. Just a short ride from Shangrila! Save some room for some amazing desserts baked by the owner. Perfection!

Such a perfect getaway spot. The house was super clean and felt like home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grill, the hot tub was a great addition! Definitely will be coming back!

Jessica's restored barn is amazing and one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! The photos don't do it justice! The barn is unique and has the most incredible views! The sunset experience is A++, and the deck is the most serene place to have your morning coffee. The most impressive part is how clean the space is- I'm not sure how she does it! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from a popcorn maker to a vitamix. There are spaces to sit, relax and nap in every corner of the house. It is immaculate, thoughtful, peaceful and comfortable. Bonus- if you love music, there is an insanely good CD & record collection. Jessica was so responsive to any of our outreach and we will 100% be back. *10/10 would recommend, this place is a total find!!

We loved this Airbnb. It was beautiful there and Michael was quick to answer any questions. We did manage to get on the water with the kayaks, so that was great. We will definitely be back.

This was my first ever Airbnb, and it was a fantastic experience. The host is super friendly and responsive. The place is exactly as described. Even though it was pet friendly, there was no odor whatsoever. Very clean and fresh. Zero complaints! Will definitely be back in the future!

Deb’s place was absolutely lovely! It is an above garage apartment that is fresh, modern, stylish, and comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked with high quality appliances. A private, peaceful little porch off the bedroom. The bed is very comfortable with a memory foam topper. AC was much appreciated. The WiFi is strong and fast. Quiet and peaceful in the woods but not far from Roscoe. Deb’s place is a gem, book it asap!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming silo.The homey, old fashion decor made it feel so cozy and welcoming. The towels were incredibly soft and the jacuzzi tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. Highly recommend!!

My partner and I loved our stay… the house is beautiful and Dustin is a great host!

We just needed a place to stay on our way home, and so I chose this little place because it was cheaper than the big brand hotels and allowed our dog. So glad we did! Comfy beds and furniture, and honestly, the pictures do not do this home justice! The parking was a little confusing, but easily accessible once we figured that out. It was a little warm upon arrival but the window units quickly made it comfortable and the overhead chandeliers doubled as ceiling fans and that helped. We walked our dog in the neighborhood and felt completely comfortable. Also, a huge bonus, we tried the little coffee shop literally across the street -- Mansour's Market -- and loved it. Our waitress was friendly and attentive; their baked goods looked amazing; and our breakfast was delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich on a hard roll with Cooper cheese and bacon and am still thinking about it. Don't hesitate to stay here. Cute place!

Sarah's loft was exactly as described. Parking was handy and the space felt safe. We were able to walk to a fantastic Italian restaurant as well as a nice walking path near the river. We definitely recommend this loft, especially for couples.

A Perfect Stay! Deane’s apartment was absolutely perfect. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The beds were very comfortable, and she added such thoughtful touches, like snacks, bottled water, and even chocolates on each bed, just like in a hotel. The space is quiet, welcoming, and located in a clean, peaceful area with a few restaurants nearby. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, they really thought of every detail. One thing to note (not a problem for us, but worth mentioning): you do have to go up two full flights of stairs to access the apartment, which might be a consideration for some. I would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely loved this place. I stayed for 6 months. Very secure area and quiet neighborhood. Private off street parking with a camera. Host was very attentive to any issues. Would definitely stay again if I come back to the area. Thanks again Bernard. 5 stars all the way!

We love the house, is very beautiful!!! The house was very clean. Rooms were great! So much space for a big family. Kids had soo much fun, they didn’t want to leave lol. The owner was very responsive to my messages and very kind.

If you're looking to rent your own amusement park then look no further this place was absolutely amazing! My entire family took advantage of every part this house had to offer whether it was the basketball net, ping pong, karaoke machine, foosball table, the heated floors, the comfy beds, the kitchen amenities, the gym, the massage chair, the sauna. we loved it all! Not to mention it was in the perfect location for our trip. We will definitely be coming back again and hopefully again and again. Oh and the windows were amazing as was the comfy living/tv area!

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. It was SUCH A PLEASURE to spend time in this house. Very nice and modern. It is very visible that lots of effort was put into it by the hosts. The jacuzzi is awesome, fire pit makes a great s’mores night, and the back yard is soon to be even better :) The movie room felt like a real club and movie theater. Amazing place, definitely recommend coming here and we will for sure consider returning!

We would return without a second thought. Before we arrived, the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Friendly communication from deposit to check out. 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays. The house was very clean and easy to access. The first things we noticed were the updates to the house. The dining table was large and comfortable for 8 adults. The living room had a large sectional sofa perfect for gathering. Each bedroom had also been updated. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice linens. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie theater! 6 large recliners and comfy floor seating made us feel like we had a night out, without going out. The backyard had a large fire ring and new chairs, but we did not take advantage of them. We did use the large propane grill and hot tub, both were in excellent condition. The kitchen was well appointed and the large fridge was great as we ate in for all meals.

This house was amazing. Rented this air bnb for my son’s 13 birthday. It was a family thing. The pool and game room was a big hit since it was rainy and cold. The beds were very comfortable, caught up on some well needed rest. There was a few hiccups but once I notified Steven he had everything solved right away. Local market was 10 mins away, pizza shop and Chinese. It was a really great week and most importantly my son had a blast. Thank you Steven I definitely wouldn’t mind coming back.

Our family weekend at Casa Julia was awesome. All 3 generations loved the layout of the house and the beautiful lake across the street. The house was nicely decorated, matched the pictures, and had everything we needed. It was a great home base for relaxation and exploring the Catskills!

Henry’s home was a great experience. The inside is very spacious and beautifully decorated. There are lots of games to play and tvs in most rooms to watch your favorite show. The pool was a little small but still very fun and the hot tub was great. The sauna was very steamy and enjoyable.
