Waterfront holiday rentals in Clarks Hill Lake

I’m late leaving this review but we had a wonderful stay. The place looks brand new, sparkling clean, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Craig and Janet couldn’t have been more friendly. We ran into Craig a few times around the property and had a really great time talking to him. We brought the boat and spent most of our days on the water. From a boating perspective, the dock is at the back of a quiet deep water cove. No worries whatsoever about water level or any kind of wake roughness, and it’s right around the corner from 18 mile creek access so drop in and take out is a breeze. It was a perfect place to retreat back to after a long day on the water. We can’t wait to come back and stay with Janet and Craig again!

Michelle’s in-home, but completely separate accommodations were fantastic! From the fragrant jasmine tree at the entrance to the outdoor seating area, the lovely water view with swans swimming, to the tasteful and comfortable furnishings inside, we were delighted with our stay! The apartment has all of the essential elements, and those that other hosts often forget (full length mirror, plenty of outlets, toiletries such as toothpaste and toothbrush , etc), which really shows how considerate Michelle and Robert are. The manual was easy to follow and up to date and we greatly appreciated the ability to control the temperature in the apartment. We would happily stay in this peaceful and comfortable apartment again! Michelle was also very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Well, I didn’t personally stay at Sharon‘s place, but my mom did and she couldn’t have had more positive things to say about this property. It will be her new go to home away from home while visiting the grandkids. 10/10.

I loved Joes place. It is quiet and peaceful, near a lake and you may see some wildlife like deer around his home. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. Joe had a basket of things you may forget to bring on your trip such as deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush and lotion. I needed to stay an extra night and Joe was very accommodating. One thing to note if you need an Uber or Lyft they do not service the area. I had to call a cab to the airport.

Has a fabulous week at the condo, which is so close to the lake.... The most peaceful and relaxing place to stay..... We had a good time at the pool and enjoyed the local area. Wish we could have stayed for longer. Deborah was a great host.

We put on a lot of miles every day taking in the area while staying at your lake home. When we returned everyday OMGosh! So relaxing and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. We will miss our 3 new buddies too. And well decorated. Perfect y'all. Jeff & Nancy

Was a nice place to stay and very comfortable. The walk to lake is a hike. Boat ramp is close to house with a nice dock. Need to add some gravel to driveway for boat and truck parking. Host is easy to get a hold of and very helpful with any issues dueing stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was the most peaceful retreat! We were using it as a wedding prep area and the minute we checked in we regretted we couldn't spend every minute there. Not only was the home spacious and spotless, but there were so many added thoughtful odds and ends to make your stay so easy (such as sunscreen or condiments you always forget to pack.) There are so many areas to relax as a family and just enjoy the views! The host was so responsive although we never even had a need to contact her during our stay, it was too perfect! We will definitely return!

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

We stayed here for a week as we celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. The first few days it did nothing but rain. We didn't mind a bit. We spent most of our time on the screened porch looking at the lake, listening to the rain, and just enjoying our time together and our beautiful surroundings. The house was perfect. One of the cleanest we have stayed at in a very long time! Location was great. We have friends who live in Savannah Lakes Village. It was a quick 25-minute drive. Augusta is about 25 minutes in the opposite direction. We found ourselves in Augusta several times during the week. The best part is there is very little traffic. Troy was a great host and very quick to respond. Highly recommend this home!

Nathan, the host, was very quick to respond with any questions we had which was nice. The house is at the most perfect location. A very chill and relaxing area, almost no boat traffic in the area (at least when we stayed).It’s also not that far away from grocery stores, restaurants and some fishing stores. The house has almost every accommodation you could need and was spotless when we got there. The highlight of this house was the personal boat ramp and kayaks. The mini golf set up was super cute and the corn hole boards were nice to have for some outdoor fun. Also the hot tub and fire pit was a 10/10 after jumping in the cold lake. They provide so many activities for you to do. I loved that they had extra blankets and a whole basket of beach towels for guests. The only thing I think I would change is I wish there were more outdoor lights by the dock or firepit so you could see at night when fishing. This place was perfect for our family coming into town and we made lots of memories!

My husband and I stayed at the Lake side Keowee Condo the last week of August. The condo looks exactly like to pictures. Kitchen was beautiful and had all that you would need. There are 2 master bedrooms. One is an ensuite with sliding doors to a small balcony that had a table and chairs. You could see the lake from the balcony . We would have breakfast out here in the morning. The living room had beautiful bay windows which also had lake view. There is a large cabinet in the living room that was stocked with games. The living room also has 2 sets of bunk beds that were like Murphy beds and folded up. We were only 2 people but condo could easily accommodate 10 people. You could walk to the pool but the beach you needed to drive to. Keowee Key is a beautiful community. It was very quiet the week we were there but we were fine with that as we were looking for peaceful few days. We did not play golf but course looked beautiful. There is also a restaurant on property

Fran’s place was the perfect place for the family to stay for my son’s graduation. Very close to campus but away from the crowds. Fran’s place was clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels felt high end. I would recommend this place 100% and hope to be back! Fran was very proactive and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth check in and check out.

Overall it was a great stay! Beautiful home. Area was very Quiet & peaceful. Didn’t like that we had to take the trash with us and the dumpster was a pretty good ways away.

I have stayed at several of the condos at the lake club, this is one of the nicest and has a great view. I will definitely book it next time.

Had a wonderful weekend on the lake thanks to Debbie. Great location, clean condo, and plenty of supplies. FYI, the 3rd bedroom is a loft that overlooks the LR, which wasn’t a big deal for us with teenagers who can sleep through everything. Also had a hiccup getting clearance at the gatehouse because of the lack of guest driver’s info wasn’t requested, took extra time. Once we past the gate, the stay was fantastic. Highly recommend and look forward to the next time!
