Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Clark County

What a wonderful stay we had! Such a clean cozy place, our family felt right at home! We were visiting Louisville for a volleyball tournament so after a long day coming home to such comfort was exactly what we needed! The playground in the backyard was an added bonus for our kids so they could go outside and play! The host provided so many snacks which was a great bonus with 4 kids! It was raining, so we weren't able to have a S'mores fire in the backyard but we allowed our kids to enjoy the provided treats anyways! Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful view, very peaceful, and not far from lots of stores, restaurants and fun activities. Plenty of space for our group of 9 people with very comfortable beds. We will definitely consider coming back in the future!

The house is a great staging place when visiting Louisville. It’s close to downtown and close to several restaurants on the Jeffersonville side of the river. While the view of the river was a bit disappointing, the easy access to the area make the house a great place to stay.

We stayed with another family for a long weekend of kids sports across the river at the Kentucky Expo center! It was the perfect place to relax and rest up for the next day!

Maximum privacy near fabulous Louisville! My partner and our dog and I loved the whole home with fenced in yard. The home was EXCELLENTLY appointed- think similar quality kitchen items, linens, pillows, mattresses etc that you would buy for your OWN home. Fantastic. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful via message. Don’t miss this great spot!

Julie's house made us feel so at home. Very pet friendly, nice back yard with double fenced in yard. Kitchen was nicely stocked too. Would definitely recommend!

Brittany’s place is one of those that feels immediately like home. It’s a gorgeous spot on the river with lots of space and comforts. We were a group of 6 and always had more than enough room - between beds, big kitchen for cooking family meals, an office space that was great for yoga, living room and tv room. Also loved the balcony and seating areas overlooking the water. 10 mins to downtown Louisville but with all the peace and quiet of a vacation getaway. And Brittany was so accommodating, responsive, and kind. We hope to be back for future visits!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay! The unit was clean, modern, spacious and had a great layout. The building itself was also very clean and felt new throughout. We enjoyed the clubhouse amenities and rooftop views of the Ohio River and Louisville. Parking was easy and we really liked the nightly garbage valet pickup. The location can’t be beat. It was super close to Jeffersonville which was a nice area with restaurants and coffee shops. It was also 5 min away from downtown Louisville, and close to the Falls of Ohio State Park, which has an Interpretative Center, outdoor fossil beds, picturesque views, and a brand new playground near by.

Super responsive when we needed something. The place was very clean and perfect for our stay during the conference. Highly recommend.

One of the best experiences yet! Easy to find and get in. We were visiting kids and even had a couple the grandkids spend a couple of nights with us. Liz was very friendly and has done a great job putting this place together. We will definitely stay again when we are in town.

Check in and check out was very quick and easy. Great place to stay in a convenient location. I will book again next time Im in town.

Great stay! The property was in a perfect location, close to everything we needed and a 5 min drive to KICC in KY! It was clean, well-kept, and just as described. Randi was super responsive and friendly, which made everything easy and smooth. Highly recommend!!❤️

Everything was great. The only comment is that the description and everything on listing says it's a King size bed. it for sure is only a queen. You can even tell by the pictures that it is only a queen, so my suspicions were right. Luckily, it was just me and my husband but when we travel with our toddler she sleeps in the middle of us and queen bed would not have worked for us.

This place was so cute and we could tell a lot of love went into it. We only got to stay one night and it rained and snowed. We’re hoping to visit again in the spring or summer when we can enjoy her backyard and porch swing!

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

Very easy to find, close to the event we were in town for, quiet area, and felt safe during the severe weather that occurred during our stay. Just wish we could’ve had better weather to get to enjoy more of the outdoor space!

This stay was awesome! we spent the weekend in Madison and this was the perfect place the wind down after being out and about. The temperature dropped a bit lower than expected but Scott proactively came over to fire up the boiler. The property was beautiful and it was fun arriving and leaving through the creek. We didn't spend much time in the yard but there appeared to be a nice fire pit with furniture near by. overall we had a great time, the only "heads up" I can give is the uneven floor in the cabin. based on the nature of log cabin there are multiple individual floor boards and there are a few that vary in heights. while we had no issues I could see small children or older adults having some troubles.

This was our second time staying here. I don’t want to leave a good review so it’s not always booked up lol! Karen is very easy to get in touch with. The cabin is private, clean, and unmatched scenery. We will, of course, be going back!

The Captains’ Cabin is a cozy and comfortable place to escape one’s routine. Our hosts provided an unexpected welcome tray and had the fireplace ready to light. An amazing, historic home beautifully redone.

The cabin was beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet. It was very clean and nicely furnished. We felt right at home. Very comfy. We loved having a fire at night. The donkeys were cute and we had a visit from their dog. We were in the middle of the bourbon trail and got to go to several distilleries. Nice location. We enjoyed our stay.
