Villa holiday rentals in Cilento

First..the property was absolutely breathtaking, not going to lie, there are many steps getting to the villa but worth it…the whole town is full of steps but the small town of 600 is charming. Miriam and Francesca were wonderful hosts, always available for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this villa.

The home was perfect to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sorrento. The home is well landed out for two couples to have privacy. We didn’t enjoy the hot tub due to it not being completely clean and temperature was not warm. If back in Sorrento we will definitely rebook this beautiful home.

The unit was immaculate and extremely well-thought-out with an easy LCD screen to activate all controls from lights to shutters to pool with a touch of a button. We enjoyed the wonderful vibe of the colorful modern decor and Orlando was very accommodating to a couple special needs we had during our stay. The location is close to many activities from beach to the Paestum temple, yet is in its own private gated space making it a peaceful retreat. The private pool and sauna were such a bonus that we also enjoyed. We would stay again if ever in the area again and highly recommend to anyone considering this location.

This charming villa was absolutely perfect for our family of three. It was so clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The gardens and citrus trees were so beautiful and made for a peaceful place to have morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. The views were stunning both day and night. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and super responsive. The location was absolutely perfect. It made for the perfect spot to enjoy Sorrento and everything was in walking distance. So many great cafes and restaurants within a short 5 minute walk. This place was truly a gem and it just felt very special and inviting.

Noch nie so ein gutes Airbnb erlebt und Michele ist als Host äußerst zuvorkommend und engagiert. Die Villa und die Umgebung waren beide wunderschön. In der Stadt Diamante sind viele hervorragende Restaurants und die Gassen der Stadt sowie die Promenade sind ebenfalls absolut schön anzusehen. Wenn man dort ist, sollte man allerdings am besten ein Auto haben, Fußwege in die Stadt eher umständlich sind ansonsten kann ich aber wirklich nichts negatives nennen was erwähnenswert wäre.

Es war eine tolle Erfahrung, so eine tolle Gegend, absolut ruhige Lage mit Privatsphäre, schöner sauberer Pool. Besonders toll ist die Terrasse mit Pergola und Blick auf Sorrent und Capri. Emanuela ist hilfreich und kommunikativ, zweimal pro Woche zum Pool sauber machen da. Es sind quasi mehrere getrennte Wohneinheiten im Haus, für die Küche muss man die Wohnungen verlassen. Das Haus verfügt über kein Hightech aber solider Standard. Wir gaben uns in den 3 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt.

After a busy week at other locations this was the perfect place to end our vacation. When we arrived I told my husband this was the Italy I had been dreaming of. A peaceful, beautiful, small villa. We spent time in the small village, enjoying wonderful food and lots of time just relaxing by the pool. We went in a boat tour to Amalfi and Positano which we enjoyed but I couldn’t wait to get back to our villa and just enjoy the beauty and peace. The only negative was the neighbor’s barking dogs at night.

Die besondere Lage des Hauses über dem Meer und die grosse Terrasse sind schöner, als auf jedem Bild vermittelbar. Haus und Küche sind sehr gut ausgestattet, kochen und auf der Terrasse geniessen war eine grosse Freude. Das gesamte Grundstück, aber auch die Region ist eine grüne Oase. Das Haus wurde für die Privatnutzung gebaut und ausgestattet, die Geschichte der Besitzer gibt ihm eine sehr persönliche Atmosphäre, eine schöne Bereicherung für uns. Nicolo war für Fragen jederzeit erreichbar, sein Helfer schnell vor Ort, wenn notwendig. Unten in Scario gibt es einen gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt und einige Gastronomien, Promenade und Hafen sind ruhig und beschaulich, eine kleine Bucht lädt zum Baden ein, das Naturschutzgebiet hinter dem Haus zum Wandern.

Very nice villa!! My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the terrace was beautiful and we had plenty of space for everyone.

Positano Paradise! 🤩 Laura's Villa exceeded expectations! Stunning interiors, breathtaking views from the immense terrace 🌊🏙️. Exceptional hosts Laura and Luca were - responsive, helpful & provided insider tips on restaurants, beaches & local activities. Homemade dinner on the patio was a highlight with Luca and his wife🌟. Meatballs & local fish dishes were divine! 🍴 10/10 would stay again. Highly recommend for unparalleled beauty & hospitality ❤️. Perfect base for Italian getaway. Unforgettable experience, can't wait to return! 😊

Stayed here for x4 nights. Their were x4 adults - and we loved exploring around the area and getting the step count (and steps!) up to justify the delicious food and drinks. Loved the location - fantastic views. Praiano is a great place to get away from the crowds - but you can easily get bus/water taxi/taxi's to go and visit the more popular tourist destinations. Accommodation was clean and spacious. Alessandro was really helpful with suggestions of places to eat nearby, and helped us organise a fantastic boat trip around the Amalfi coast.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Barone. Plenty of room for our family of 7. The outdoor area was relaxing and spacious for our 3 year old to run and play. We loved having the entire home to ourselves. The hosts provided coffee and an array of snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. They were gracious, generous with their information and very responsive to our inquiries and needs. The walk to town is not far but one must be cautious as the roads are narrow with little room to walk, and the cars and motor bikes are many. We managed surprisingly well with a stroller and a little extra caution. Would definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to Sorrento in the future! Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Marilisa! JJ met us and helped with our bags which was greatly appreciated. Annalisa welcomed us at their beautiful villa. The villa is very spacious and the outdoor space was gorgeous and so peaceful. And the views are amazing. JJ was very helpful in arranging transportation, and booked a wonderful boat tour for us too. The steps to restaurants are plentiful - we found them rewarding and justified eating extra knowing we would get our steps in : ) Would absolutely stay here again. Wonderful villa, wonderful hosts, and wonderful views : )

This villa was absolutely beautiful, and Assunta was a great host. She was so friendly and welcoming, and gave us complimentary lemons from her own garden, as well as a bottle of wine. This villa was in a fantastic location, right in the middle of shopping and a short walk down to the beach and more restaurants. The patio and garden views were amazing, even better than the listing photos! If we ever come back to Positano, we would stay here again!

A very beautiful place perfect for our family of 4 with two adult daughters. The location was great when traveling by ferry, as it is at the base of Positano just above the beach. It made traveling to Capri, for a day trip, very easy to access the ferry. The highlight was definitely the patio! Not sure how many other rentals have a large patio like this one! We loved having our morning coffee with the beautiful views, and 3 out of the 4 nights we went to the small grocery store (The Wine Shop, a 2 minute walk - with everything you need, and a wonderful staff!) and bought fresh produce, meats and cheese and had dinners on the patio, using the beautiful ceramic dishes! We ran out of coffee pods and the hosts hand delivered them to our door! This airbnb was a splurge (everything is expensive in Positano) during our travels in Italy, but worth it!

We had the most incredible stay at this villa in Sorrento! From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome offering local tips, helping with transport, and ensuring we had everything we needed. The villa itself is stunning: immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the comforts of home. But the real highlight was the location perched perfectly for breathtaking views of the coast and just a short stroll to Sorrento’s charming center. We truly didn’t want to leave. Can’t recommend this place highly enough it was the perfect Italian getaway! Looking forward to my next stay here with friends

From the moment we arrived Luigi and his family were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. On our first evening we were given 2 enormous freshly baked pizzas. Most welcome after a long day travelling here. As a party of five adults we stayed for two weeks and glad we did. The views from the Terrace were amazing, with spectacular sunsets. From the large deck and pool areas you can quietly relax and enjoy views of the sea or mountains. At meal times the fabulous gas Webber BBQ was greatly appreciated. Inside the rooms, there were some charming, decorative features which added to the ambience of the property. A large open kitchen/lounge area provides a lovely social space. From the property was a fabulous walk with amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Versuvius. The small village nearby is very friendly but as mentioned in other reviews a small car is essential which our hosts also helped us to arranged.

There are a lot of villas to search through in Sorrento, but really you should stop your search here. This location was absolutely perfect: views of the ocean, Mt Vesuvius, and the sunset; extremely helpful and kind hosts; beautiful gardens; and amenities to make you feel completely relaxed. Carlo and Emanuela have put so much time and care into making Villa Carolina an absolute pleasure to stay at. Recommend for anyone heading to Sorrento that wants to experience an Italian villa!

Roby was an extremely helpful host from the very beginning of my communication with her before arrival and this continued on throughout our stay. Roby was always very clear about what was possible during our stay and what was available in the community that we might need including restaurants, nearby, beach, beaches, and trips outside to Vineyards, etc. I found Roby to always be cordial, friendly, reliable and straightforward in her assistance. Roby and the caretaker and breakfast manager, Tony, worked extremely well together. They were an excellent team!

Highly recommended place to stay, if you’re looking for something peaceful and out of the town, this place match up with the best location ever, really great house, clean and we couldn’t find another view of the cost than the place has it. We were welcomed by Luigi, who’s had done a great job and made us feel like home. If you will host here, try to rent a car, it’s highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.

Valerio’s huis was gezellig en het uitzicht fenomenaal! Je kunt vanuit het huis helemaal naar zee wandelen - heen naar beneden, terug naar boven, dus wel een klim. Er zijn ook allerlei andere wandelingen, echt zo leuk! Het dorpje is geweldig; kleine supermarkt, slager en fantastisch koffie-ijs-broodjes zaakje. Probeer nioccola, onze nieuwe fav smaak!! Enige minpunt: het was echt koud in de avond en voor de verwarming moest je betalen, geen ramp, maar wel jammer. Verder fantastisch!

We had an amazing stay at Giancarlos! We felt so welcomed and at home whilst being so far away! Giancarlo was a really great host. The street that was walking distance was the most wholesome local place. We felt very welcomed and safe in the local town. Would 100% stay again. Fantastic spot for exploring the Amalfi coast!

Wir hatten eine super Zeit und würden sofort wieder kommen! Antonio war super hilfreich und immer erreichbar und hat uns somit unsere Zeit dort deutlich erleichtert. 100%ige Empfehlung!!

This villa was so much more than we could have expected. It is spacious, clean and airy. The large terrace outside has a gorgeous pool, recliners and great views in all directions, including the sun setting over Vesuvius. Its location on the top of a hill gives it perfect privacy. Sonia's nephew, Riccardo, met us in Cava de' Tirreni and guided us to the villa, which is a short drive (or taxi) from the town but not easy to find. Riccardo showed us around the villa before he left. Our hosts were very prompt in responding to requests and queries during the week, with recommendations for places to eat and a local taxi. The nearby small village is a reasonable walk down and has a shop, butcher and bar. The walk back up is inevitably more taxing. One last thing, the fireflies on the bank at the north side of the villa were mesmerising. It became a daily routine to watch them after enjoying the amazing sunset from the terrace. Huge thanks to our hosts for a fantastic stay.
