Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cilento Coast

Enchanting place, everything is perfect. Extremely friendly and kind hosts, perfect for visiting the area, we will definitely be back.

Hemingway, rumored to have spent some time in Acciaroli, said of Italy, "Sometimes I think we only half live over here. The Italians live all the way." At Casa Speranza, I was afforded the quiet and space to access the the other half. The apartment was clean, simple, and walking distance to the Acciaroli beaches and the markets and cafes in town, and only a short drive (30-180 minutes) to some lovely walks and runs in Parco Nazionale del Cilento. Francesco and his mom and dad were very gracious hosts; check-in and parking was a breeze, and his mother Giovanna even went so far as to cook my partner and I acciuga in a red wine vinegar, garlic and mint as an unexpected surprise for lunch. We loved our stay here and would love to return!

We had a great stay in Marco's small apartment. The apartment was super furnished, it was really everything you need. We felt right at home! We were lucky to meet Marco in person at check-in - a special thank you for his many tips for our holiday. Thank you also for letting us take our two dogs with us. We can only recommend the accommodation and if we go to the area again, we will gladly stay there again.

Having traveled extensively through Europe we were a little doubtful about the consistently exceptional reviews of this apartment but here we are adding our 100% recommendation. The apartment is beautiful and the location provides access to several day trips, including Positano and Amalfi, assuming you ever want to leave the balcony. The views are stunning so staying put is a valid choice! What sets this Airbnb apart however are the hosts. Never have we had hosts who were so helpful and invested in our stay. On the day we arrived, Angela and her husband drove us to the market to buy provisions (we could have walked but they wanted to save us the trip up the stone steps). Every day Raffaele checked in with us to provide recommendations, advice, or to offer to arrange transportation- sometimes by him! He sent detailed pictures for directions and checked in to be sure we found the bus stops etc. There are a lot of steps, so bring your sneakers and enjoy this amazing property.

Absolutely amazing place to be. waking up in the morning with the sun shining on your bed, seeing a beautiful mountain view from the window. And in the evening beautiful sunsets. Great beaches nearby, some hikes. Luca was very helpful and kind. I would very much like to come back once in the summertime.

Beautiful place to stay! Short driving distance to many historical towns and 3 min driving to the beach. Ocean views and very peaceful. Very clean and brand new small apartment. Giorgio and his wife were very kind and helpful during our stay! We changed some plans and decided to make another reservation to stay longer in their place because of the hospitality and the place.

The accommodation has a great location, is comfortable and very clean, equipped with everything you need for a peaceful stay surrounded by the greenery of centuries-old olive trees! What was more important was the availability of Gloria, who gave us very useful tips and tips for our trip to Cilento! Highly recommended!

Alfonso was the lovliest host, and we feel so lucky to have grabbed up a weekend at his beautiful apartment! It's located in a beautiful 'village' feeling town, with friendly proprietors, musicians.. gorgeous food, drinks, shopping, and views! We can't recommend it highly enough!

What a place! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning – and to top it off, the host was so welcoming and friendly, offering great local recommendations. Giovanni was incredibly accommodating and even picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. We had a fantastic time! Location-wise, it's excellent – close to the beach and other attractions. We had a very nice stay at Luciano's. You can enjoy private and the area is beautifully quiet. Luciano is always available and very hospitable. As a nice surprise, we also received mozzarella and delicious lemons. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat everything. The location is on a mountain. You do need a car. You can be downstairs in a few minutes by car and you can go to the beach and eat well. There are also all kinds of things to do nearby. It is also nice that you are mainly among Italians, so it is not so touristy. We didn't meet a single Dutch person there in our week! Learning a few words of Italian is useful.

Fantastic host for extraordinary hospitality, courtesy and communication. We were able to leave the car in a small inner courtyard, super convenient. The house is equipped with everything you need to feel at home: bath towels, detergents, coffee, sugar, etc. Very quiet place, very clean apartment. Thank you for the very welcome fresh water and the excellent sweets that we were given. Highly recommended!

Two days of absolute relaxation with the family We spent two days surrounded by greenery and the beauty of this villa with a breathtaking sea view, corners of the house to fully enjoy every relaxation. We were welcomed by Marzio and his family and made us feel like part of it. We'll be back soon to this magnificent property

Great apartment with a top location and a fantastic view of the sea. Superbly equipped and very stylishly furnished. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They are almost unobtrusively attentive. We liked it very much and nothing was missing. We will not only come back once. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely quiet location and the very accommodating hosts. It doesn't get any better than that!

Very nice rental unit in a beautiful, peaceful, setting. Great views from every window, and just a few steps from the beach. We had a great stay here , and certainly would recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful setting.

Absolutely book this Airbnb, it’s even more stunning in person! Roberto’s place completely exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. We were blown away from the moment we arrived and are already planning to return. The spacious terrace offers a breathtaking view, with plenty of seating to relax and soak it all in. It was so peaceful and serene: a place that made us want to stay in and enjoy the home. One afternoon, with the incredible backdrop of the terrace, my boyfriend proposed, it was magical and unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including an incredibly cozy bed. The location is ideal, just a short, scenic walk to the main square and its charming restaurants. We also found it easy to visit Amalfi and Minori from Ravello. Roberto is a wonderful host - warm, welcoming, and attentive. He arranged a private driver for us, greeted us at check-in, and offered local tips. He made us feel right at home. This Airbnb is a must!

We had the most wonderful stay at Giovanni Maria’s place. Our host was exceptional - so wonderfully kind and friendly, giving us so many wonderful recommendations and being the most fantastic host we have experienced. The apartment is huge, with three outside spaces overlooking the sea. It is very easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and the nearby train station meant we could easily reach Pompei, the amalfi ferry and the very lovely Vietri Sol Mare. A little piece of me will stay in the apartment - it was exceptional. We would love to come back one day.

Margherita’s condo is nothing short of a hidden gem in Salerno! Located in a secure location on a quiet side street, this place is very comfy and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay (however do be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs to access the condo!). We could’ve sat on the balcony for hours just marvelling at the breathtaking view of the mountains. Margherita and Francesca were wonderful hosts; always communicative and ready to help! Despite the language barrier between us, Margherita kindly took the time to meet us at the outside gate for check-in and showed us all that the place had to offer (including a tasting of her homemade limoncello!). It truly is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the Amalfi Coast. We are so grateful to Margherita and Francesca for taking such great care of us!! :)

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful city. I will return!

Federica was a welcoming host who responded quickly to messages and checked in with us during our stay. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday and the views from the terrace are amazing. We loved sitting there for breakfast and an evening drink. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. However please note that this is not an apartment for people with limited mobility. There are lots of stairs and it’s a steep walk back from town. For us it was a fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful holiday with Laura and Vito, the best hostess and host you can imagine. Even before I arrived, I received useful information about the region. Upon arrival, we were picked up at the airport of Salerno. We immediately had a nice chat and in the apartment we got all kinds of tips to discover the region, also on a culinary level :-). Vito is always available and responds immediately to your message. Nearby you have a bakery, fruit shop, supermarket, delicatessen, very good restaurants and bars. The apartment is very spacious and neat with a beautiful view of the sea. You don't need a car here. The bus will take you to the station and the ferry service or a half-hour walk is also an option. Since we have not yet seen everything of this beautiful region, we will definitely return. Thank you very much Laura and Vito!
