Casa Vista Azul - Room 2

Amazing place. The access to the beach is really beautiful. Comfortable room and bathroom very nice. Hot water if you need it. Very pleasant and relaxing place (out of season). Our hosts were lovely with us, we ordered a meal for two from the casa and the value for money is perfect . The most eating with the feet in the sand and the sea is 10m away. Several nearby restaurants very nice and affordable as well. Provide mosquito repellent because in the evening they are out!

Thank you so much to Alex and his amazing mom for the hospitality. We especially appreciate the varied breakfast, the help during the crisis with the phone charger (thank you for the power bank!) and the excellent restaurant recommendation in the area. We wish them all the best!

Villa Rio-Mar Room#2 Breakfast Included

The apartment is in a great location with easy access to the beach and town of Playa Larga. Melisa was very responsive and helpful in organising travel and tours during our stay. She also includes an amazing breakfast each morning to enjoy whilst looking across the pretty fishing bay. I highly recommend doing the enigma de las rocas tour along with snorkelling at the cueva de los pesces. Just a note about the area: the restaurants along the beach all have a stunning view but are very expensive compared to other Cuban restaurants we went to. More like European prices as you are paying for being on the beach (which is paradise!). If you walk into town there are cheaper restaurants. We also had an amazing pizza from a street side shack nearby for only 200CUP!

Casa Las Jimaguas

i loved my stay . Osmara was very communicative and responded promptly to all my messages. the room is very large and very clean and it has a nice balcony. it is not on the main touristy area but about 10 minutes walk and I like that. it is a very quiet and "real" Cuba area. thank you aosmarq. I would definitely recommend staying there.

house with 24-hour electricity

To stay with Bombo is to become a part of his family, and what an absolute privilege that was. I was very sad to leave Playa Larga, and my memories of his smile, his secret handshake, the generosity and hospitality of his wife will live a long time in my memory- proof indeed that kindness is still prevalent in the human condition. I miss them already. Best wishes from England

Hostal Danay's Room # 1

LaryssaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a very pleasant stay, with great emphasis on the stunning view that the place offers. The atmosphere is quiet, well cared for and welcoming. An important differentiator of the accommodation is the fact that there is a power generator, which made all the difference during blackouts that take place in Cuba. Vale is only a gentle observation about the exit: we were with a lot of luggage and we had a bit of difficulty in getting a shuttle to the bus stop. Although the hostess was friendly, there was no direct indication of taxi or bici-taxi for this excerpt. With the help of locals, we managed to solve it. Nothing that compromised the experience, but it's good to be aware of this logistical point, especially if you have a lot of suitcases. Overall, we recommend hosting!
