Great area, pet friendly character home. Basement has two beds and air mattress if needed could fit up to 4 people sleeping. Must like pets I have a miniature Australian Shepard and two cats. Guest must be pet friendly and not have allergies to pets.
“Kim is an amazing person, the epitome of a gracious, welcoming host! Warm and genuine, she made me feel at home immediately. She goes the extra mile to ensure your comfort. Funny, smart, thoughtful, generous, understanding, respectful of your privacy, and an excellent communicator. Super comfortable bed and a hot shower with good pressure. Sparkling clean home. Strong, consistent wifi signal. Well stocked, immaculate bathroom. For the woman traveler or on a business trip, a relaxed, secure setting. Better than staying in a boutique hotel. It feels like your own home! A sweet dog and cat if you want company reading or watching Netflix. Great location. Minutes away from shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, a movie theatre, and Victoria Hospital yet tucked away in a peaceful, residential area. Close to Little Red, a huge beautiful park with hiking, biking, and cross country skiing trails. You will not find a place in Prince Albert that will provide better value for money. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, Kim! Will see you again down the road.”
Enjoy the scenic area of Great Blue Heron Provincial Park at Emma Lake on Murray Point.
“Penny was a great host for our stay at Emma lake. She was quick to respond to questions and left numerous travel brochures as well as S’mores!! We loved our stay and hope to return.”
This is my cozy little cottage in the woods! I love nature and wanted to share this space with anyone wanting to come experience the beautiful lakes or National Park. Located in Christopher Lake village, you are walking distance to shops, restaurant, and ice cream stand. 1 km around the corner is Bells beach, 8km to Sunnyside (more beaches, ice cream, mini golf, bar, etc) , and half hour drive gets you to Anglin Lake, Waskesui (National Park), and more!
“I could easily sum this AirBNB up by simply saying “BEST AIRBNB EVER!!” However Virginia, the hostess, deserves a Review with a lot more effort than just that. I have stayed at 5 AirBNB’s this summer (I wanted to give the kids a summer to remember, so I splurged)! However, this AirBNB put ALL the others to shame! Not only is the price right – btw thank-you so much Virginia for making this an affordable trip for us, you are an angel – but the cottage itself was cute, cozy, comfortable…it felt like a home. She put a lot of care and attention to detail into this cottage. She WANTS you to feel super comfortable at her cottage, and she goes out of her way to ensure that you will be! She even left a Provincial Park Pass, for us to go to Waskesui for the weekend of the Music Festival, which she kindly told us about. If it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have had as much fun as we did. She also leaves a pile of recommendations; describing the many activities, trails and many other things to do while at Christopher Lake. Helpful indeed! There was a huge Apple TV to watch, which the kids loved – including WIFI! Can’t go without Wifi, at least not with 2 teenagers! Virginia makes sure that you don’t have too 😀 The beds were comfortable; along w/high quality sheets, blankets, towels….everything is to the highest standards in this cottage! Even the Cookware is Lagostina – and trust me it helps! Staying at different AirBNB’s ALL summer, I can tell you the little things that you don’t think of that really make a big difference in your stay. Cookware is one of them! She had the Mini-Fridge FILLED with cans of Pop – in our family that was a dream! Lol. She also has “big kid” drinks; she emphasizes that you may help yourself to whatever you find, so that being said, I helped myself to a glass ;) As well, you will find all those toiletries that we always seem to forget to bring! She has literally thought of everything! There was a rare problem w/ the water pressure tank mid-stay; her and Joel attended to the issue immediately. In the meantime, they put us up in a nice little motel in Waskesui! She told me to find whatever I could (it was last minute, during the Waskesui Music Festival – there wasn’t much and it definitely wasn’t cheap, but she insisted we stay somewhere so that we could have access to showers, running toilets, etc.) That alone showed a lot of character from this amazing couple! This really meant a lot to me – they covered the entire bill! In a way I was almost hesitant to give such a (deserving) positive review…but only because I want to have this little gem all to myself! Lol. My own little piece of Heaven, run by the sweetest people you will ever meet. I cannot say enough good things about this AirBNB and the people that run it. You will undoubtedly be disappointed by other AirBNB’s after you’ve stayed here. Noone puts in the heart and effort that Virginia and Joel put into theirs. I can’t wait to stay here again! What a treat it was – you really helped to make this the best summer (and AirBNB of course) that we’ve ever experienced! We were completely WOWED from the minute we walked in to the cottage – and all the little (and BIG!) extra’s you left and included was over and above kind and generous. I wish there were more people in this world like you! THANK YOU Virginia and Joel 💓 ”
