To see the workings of a multi-generational family farm, stay in a 170 year old house with beautiful high-quality furniture and fittings, and engage with a kind and gentle-natured farmer and his wife…was wonderful. A gentle desert rain arrived as we got there and set the tone for one of the most restful holidays we have ever had. The farmer’s 2 dogs popped in every now and again and made themselves part of the family. Richard and Anika were accommodating and quick to sort out anything we asked for. The house was spotlessly clean and filled with history from the 1800s. There was a sense of warmth with the people living / working on the farm as well. The drive to Nieu Bethesda was around 15min going up a gorgeous gentle pass which presented something new every time we travelled. The highlight of the stay was walking up the hill behind the house and sitting on the bench overlooking the farm, valley, and mountains at sunset. Thank you Richard and Anika (our kids say hi).

Great value for money.

Absolutely loved our stay. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for my whole family. We had a wonderful Christmas there. The whole place is so calm and relaxing and just a lovely experience. We are looking forward to booking again.

Amazing spot! Perfect for anyone wanting a lovely golf getaway or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet. Neil was responsive and his place had everything we needed.

A beautiful stone cottage with stunning views of the mountains and farm. We had a lovely stay and our dog loved running around on the farm. The cottage was fenced which was perfect to keep our dog safe. We will be back for sure.

Would have wanted to stay over longer, but could not. Tranquility, farm and nature absorb you all at once. The type of place for longer stays, if you want some alone-time, have you and your loved ones only for yourself or want to bathe in the twilight of transition between city-, old-fashioned farmstyle- and nature-living
