Casa do Povo is part of a group of houses inserted in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro, located in Barqueiros, in the Douro Demarcated Region. Our cottages are designed to welcome those who seek to savour nature in its most authentic form: where the melody of silence is gently broken by birdsong, the soft murmur of cascading waters, and the rustic rhythm of an old mill - lulling you into slumber and inspiring dreams of a hidden paradise called Recião. We offer breakfast and dinner as additional services, both subject to availability.

Relax Container

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).

Studio in beautiful, old wine village.

The studio is part of the large authentic private house of the Dutch owners, located in Provesende, a traditional and, for several years, protected wine village in the heart of the Douro Valley. UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the house are three studios with their own entrance and two rooms. The garden and swimming pool are for communal use.

Douro Paradise Cabin

Cabana Douro Paraíso is located on the bank of the Douro river between Porto and Régua. The magnificent landscape will surprise you every morning! The cottage is secluded by more privacy and surrounded by flowers! Possibility to park your car. We also propose breakfast, but it is not included in the nightly price.
