A 50-year-old vacant house has been renovated by the owner, who is a registered professional builder. This is ‘JindaijiStudio SAZU222’ (Room 201), a modern hideaway nestled in the natural surroundings of Shindaiji Temple. We have transformed this old building into a space that evokes a sense of charm and excitement the moment you step inside. The convenience of city life, with the peaceful atmosphere of mornings and evenings. Enjoy an exceptional stay where you can experience both. [Shindaiji: A City of History and Greenery] Shindaiji Temple, a 1,300-year-old temple with the second-longest history in Tokyo. Right outside the gate, you’ll find lush greenery, our famous soba noodles, and the vast Shindai Botanical Garden, all within walking distance. [Easy access] To get to the city centre, take the express train from Chofu Station; the shortest journey to Shinjuku is 18 minutes. There are five Luup (shared-bike) docking stations on the property, making it very easy to get to the station and Ajinomoto Stadium. There are also convenience stores (4-minute walk) and restaurants dotted around the area, so you won’t want for anything even if you’re staying for a long time. There is also an express bus service that departs from the ‘Chūōdō Shindaiji’ bus stop (a 4-minute walk). There is also direct access to some of Japan’s most iconic tourist destinations, such as the Fuji Five Lakes region (Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka) and Hida-Takayama.

The nearest stations are Tama Reien Station on the Keio Line or Tama Station on the Seibu Tamagawa Line (change at Musashisakai Station on the Chuo Line), both of which are about 30 minutes from Shinjuku Station. The accommodation is a 19-minute walk from Tama Reien Station and an 11-minute walk from Tama Station. It is a little far from the station, so depending on the time, we can drive you to and from the nearest station. Please let us know in advance what time you would like us to pick you up. Ajinomoto Stadium is close, within a 10-minute drive. We can also provide information on nearby restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and tourist attractions. There is a parking lot on the guesthouse premises where you can park your car, motorbike or bicycle (free of charge). However, cars are limited to small cars with a total length of up to 3,800 mm. If your car exceeds this size, please park in the coin parking lot, which is a 1-minute walk away (600 yen for 24 hours). Please let us know in advance if you are coming by car.
