The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

The comfort and setting as well as the two wood stoves make it a warm place where the desire to settle down and enjoy the present moment predominate. You can walk or bike to many hiking trails. The garden furniture will allow you to contemplate the setting around a meal with family or friends.

In the heart of the Pouilly Fumé vineyard, a fully restored former winemaker's house, ideal for discovering the riches of this terroir. Charming single-story house located in the heart of the village. Composed of 2 bedrooms sleeping 5 people. Its pleasant enclosed garden has garden furniture, a barbecue, a ping pong table and a petanque court. our cottage is located 2 hours from Paris, close to the castle of St Fargeau, the medieval site of Guédelon and the vineyards of Chablis and Sancerre.

The Foreman's House

The Domaine des Carriers is a former limestone quarry whose old houses and outbuildings have been renovated into charming gîtes and guest rooms. This space, a true haven of peace and history, is located 5 minutes by car from Clamecy, 46 minutes from Auxerre and 2h35 from Paris. INFORMATION: There are dogs running loose on the estate.
