Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Chester County

Kate & Jan are excellent hosts. From their ad, I knew their home was going to be the quintessential example of what a BnB should be…and I was right. They have done a great job of changing a house built in 1837 into a home-away-from-home for travelers. They are very fun to chat with and they make a great breakfast! I highly recommend you stay there when you are in the area to visit the local gardens.

We had a great stay at Adens n Wilma’s. They were very nice n friendly and made us feel right at home. The space we had was perfect for our short stay. Wilma served us a delicious breakfast! We enjoyed talking with them as well. We would definitely consider staying there again when we visit that area again

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast! From the moment we arrived, Melissa and her family made us feel right at home. The hospitality was truly unmatched—warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast, and having Melissa join us for great conversation made it feel like we were staying with old friends rather than just hosts. It was more than just a place to sleep—it was an experience filled with comfort, kindness, and connection. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay was too short as we were just traveling through but it will be a destination next time. The accommodations were wonderful and the surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful, I could have sat on the deck all day. Wilma was a gracious host and the eggs, bread, milk and treats were delicious. My 8 year old son loved all of the farm animals, especially the barn cats who were actually friendly. Wilma and her son took the time to show us around the farm. We will definitely be back!

Romi was a very sweet host! She gave us a tour of her home when we got there and she was very welcoming! Her home is beautiful and in a great location near some shops and restaurants.

This is my second stay with the Martin family and I certainly plan to return many times in the future. It feels like a second home the minute you walk inside and the Martin family always provides very clean accommodations with special touches, a beautiful homemade breakfast, helpful suggestions, great conversation, etc. It's the perfect type of old fashioned genuine hospitality that you rarely find these days in any accommodation. Melanie, the wonderful host, is someone I looked forward to seeing and can't wait to see again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and clean and we loved spending time seeing the cats, cows and chickens. Glenda and her daughter were very nice and took the time to give us recommendations for things to do and places to eat. I highly recommend staying here!

We went to Lancaster County looking for peace and quiet. The family was kind, generously showed us around the property and invited us to watch the milking of the cows. Our toddler loved being around all the animals. There is a lot of family friendly activities in the area, and the full kitchen made it easy to have meals at home. Their dogs were friendly to our over eager child. Overall, it was exactly the simple life we were seeking — a great break from the city.
