Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Cheshire West and Chester

This is the second time we have booked David's place and he left us some welcoming drinks which was a really nice touch. This is saved as a favourite, lots of parking, super clean, tidy, cosy, peaceful and has everything needed for a short or long stay away from home.

Lovely private annex in pretty, and peaceful surroundings with everything I needed. Great for a two day stop over. It all felt very welcoming, the bread, milk, juice and of course the little bottle of prosecco was also a really nice touch.

Julie could not have been more helpful. This is a lovely house in a delightful location.

Great time in cottage’s Melanie, where we could visit our family in a quite and friendly environment. The house is set to have all what you need and feel comfortable from the first second. We really recommend to visit the area. Very nice memories in family.

Really beautiful lodge in a great location. The pictures don’t do the place justice, the lodge is very well equipped and in fantastic condition. Hilary is a great host and very responsive. Would highly recommend and will return.

Fabulous 2 night, weekend stay for 5 adults. Location was perfect for Chester city centre and racecourse. We parked 2 cars in the drive and 1 in front of the drive. Downstairs space was very large, plenty of sofas/chairs in the lounge and a large kitchen diner. Kitchen had a great supply of equipment, utensils and equipment. 3 upstairs bedrooms and 1 bathroom and the bonus of a downstairs shower room and toilet. Small decking outside and seating for 4, we brought a 5th seat and sat in the afternoon sun. Excellent Chinese takeaway Wing Wah 6 minutes walk, lovely meal at the Ship Inn 10 minutes walk. Very close to Chester city centre. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a great stay. The house was lovely and clean. Beautiful peaceful location. Eleanor was very helpful and quick at replying. We’d love to stay again.

Sonya’s place was perfect for our weekend trip to visit friends. Perfectly clean, really comfy (and huge!) bed, and overall a lovely peaceful setting with birdsong and sheep! Sonya even left some toys for our daughter to play with. Would definitely recommend

Tim's place was fantastic! - So well designed and thought out. I loved the layout of the living space and kitchen. It was so peaceful and a nice surprise was it stayed nice and cool in the evenings despite the hot weather. Would thoroughly recommend.

Gillon and Merete were amazing hosts. The place is beautiful and in such a stunning setting. My favourite moment was going out for an early evening swim - so tranquil. The pool was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Just back from a long weekend at Iain and Judy's lovely place. It's really cute and quirky, just what you want from an old cottage. We really appreciated all the nice touches that were included (tea and coffee, butter, croissants, jam and crumpets for breakfast, fans and heaters to keep us comfy, lots of throw pillows on the sofa etc) We got very lucky with the weather so were able to make use of the deck and garden (lovely and peaceful) as well as doing lots of walking with our dog Ruby. Judy was very kind even when Ruby started shouting at her through the fence! 10/10, we thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Gem of a cottage, perfect location for visiting the races. Did some shopping at Cheshire Oaks on the Sunday which was brilliant. 4 of us stayed at the cottage and was ample space and excellent amenities. Communication was great when we struggled with the lock box but Rachael responded immediately to assist. Will definitely be staying again!

I can't praise our host or the cottage highly enough. Our cook (!) particularly loved the dual high level ovens - "the best kitchen I've ever cooked in". The cottage was spotless, comfortable and elegant, and we all enjoyed sitting out in the quiet garden. Thank you, Evangeline.

What a lovely, clean, well maintained and special little place this cottage is, surrounded by fields, very secluded with the added little bonus of George the dog next door. (its very dog friendly).. Our hosts were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble, thank you both for a lovely time, we will certainly be booking again.. p.s. I think we may have packed George's dog bowl by mistake!! sorry :(

Lovely place to stay - close to the city centre (but still quiet) and walking distance from Aldi, restaurants and pubs. Only thing that was missing was a dining table for our family of 4, but we ate in the kitchen and the kids loved sitting on the countertops. Bed were so comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely weekend at Natalie’s house.Very clean , well equipped, modern and spacious. I would definitely recommend her lovely home.

Julia was very attentive from booking to arriving and leaving the property , a beautiful house and surroundings perfect for our family celebrations, the hot tub was a added bonus and the games room was also fab , the property had everything we needed

What a fabulous place. Right in the Cheshire countryside. The house was just as described. The large family kitchen was a great hub. All bedrooms were light and airy with fresh white bed linen. Towels and robes were provided for the hot tub which we enjoyed every day. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We loved the farmhouse, it was very spacious, the facilities were excellent, the hot tub was fab! Lovely garden with plenty of shade (were lucky with a hot weather weekend!) . Very good location for visiting Chester / Blue Planet Aquarium etc. We had local family joining us for a buffet lunch one day and there was plenty of crockery/ cutlery/ serving dishes etc. Ben was swift to respond to/sort out a couple of minor issues, and was very helpful. We would definitely like to come and stay again! Thank you!

Perfect stay for a peaceful night away from the city lifestyle, beautiful surroundings by the lake with natural wildlife. Barbara was a brilliant host with great communication and very clear instructions, she kindly pre heated the Hot Tub for us which was appreciated for our arrival. The BBQ and log burner were a great addition with the Hut being fully equipped with cooking utensils for what we needed, lovely and cosy with fairy lights and lovely outside lighting. The outside bathroom was very clean and easy to access. Overall brilliant stay will definitely recommend to others or to return for another visit in the future.

Everything about this place was great. The little village itself is lovely and plenty little shops and a few bars, restaurants. The accommodation was lovely and just what we were looking for. They have thought about every single detail. From tea, coffee and milk in the fridge for our arrival, to things like storage containers to take dirty dishes to the cleaning hub next to the lodge. Every single detail in the lodge had been thought about to make the stay perfect. The bed was comfy, maybe a little hard but that is just my personal preference. The hot was really lovely. Completely private and not overlooked at all, which is what we wanted. It was lovely and warm and was checked every morning by staff. The staff are friendly. I asked if we could do a bbq on the decking of the lodge and was told we could as long as it wasn't a disposal one as it would burn the plastic decking. Hollies farm shop is 4 min drive away and perfect for bbq food. We will definitely be returning
