We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

Wonderful home in a beautiful, peaceful location. Close to Hiawassee for shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.

Mario's place is a true mountain hideaway. Rustic and comfy with enough bathrooms for a large family. Big living room to gather in, and spacey enough to get some time to yourself if needed. The place is well-stocked and clean. The vibe is clutter free and relaxed, homey and spacious. Woodsy with lots of birdsong and no neighbors within sight of the house except way down the mountain far away. There wasn't really anything we needed that we didn't find...extra blankets and pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc. There was even a chalk marker to mark our initials on our water bottles. Really can't say enough great things about this stay, and don't have anything negative to say. Mario is an excellent host and really flexible, with very few rules other than to respect his property. Highly recommend all the way around!

This place was incredible. One of the most unique homes (not just AirBnB's, homes) in Cherokee County!

This was the perfect place for us and our dogs to stay while visiting family :) 10/10 recommend :)

We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back! The furnishings and beds were high end and very comfortable. The view from the house is incredible.

My family absolutely adored this cabin. Excellent host. Very responsive and kind. Location was perfect. Close to grocery stores and things to do. No scary drives to get to cabin. Beautiful place inside and out with tons of blooming flowers. Comfy beds. My kiddos and doggos spent many hours playing in the river. Make sure to bring water shoes and keep track of TVA water release times. The neighbors are angels. Fireflies galore in the evening. This is definitely a place you won’t want to leave! Hoping to come back again next summer to this place and checking out one of Mitch’s homes with elevation in the fall. Thank you for sharing your place!

Bruce was so kind to accommodate us after hours and short notice. He helped us check in and made sure we were settled before leaving. Very clean and cozy home with plenty of room. The neighbors were also all welcoming and super helpful!

Our family Thanksgiving vacation was enhanced by this attractive, spotlessly clean, convenient location on the banks of Lake Hiwassee. The outdoor fire pit was a real plus to our son and grandson as was the lovely living area where we sat after our Thanksgiving dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves.

What an amazing stay! The house was conviently located to downtown Murphy and also secluded at the same time. All the ammenities you could ever need during your visit were provided; even extra firewood was included at no charge. Deby and Jennifer were amazing throughout the booking process; service was top notch! Would highly recommend, and look forward to returing soon!

When you walk through the front door you feel a sense of calmness, the home is very inviting and smells like a 5 star hotel! All the beds are inviting and comfortable. There are plenty of towels and paper products, which is a hard find. I practically live out of Airbnb’s and this one definitely welcomed me in! I will stay here again!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

The home was perfect for our family get together. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not feel crammed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the 4 and a half bathrooms was a plus. We definitely recommend this home for anyone wanting to get away and relax.

We really enjoyed this space, it was so quite up at the top of this hill and the house was so well stocked! My wife loved all the bathroom supplies and how everything was set up. Really an excellent host! Not just renting a space but you feel right at home.

After staying in some really nice properties this on stands out. I give it 10 out of 10. Denise and David are super nice people ready to accommodate any requests. The apartment is a perfect size for us and our two dogs. There's an easy walk to the lake where you can bank fish or fish off the dock. A kayak awaits the younger guests at no charge. it's quiet an very restful. We will visit again sometime in the future.

It was as described. Vanessa was quick to reply with questions. We were very happy with how clean when we arrived. If you are willing to drive a little there are interesting things to do, Fields of the Wood was beautiful. Hiwassee Dam good fishing. Nice lake. Quaint little shops in McCaysville GA.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here as well did my wife's sister and boyfriend. The cabin itself was well kept and clean and so quaint. the view was absolutely gorgeous! The hosts went above and beyond to leave us a special birthday gift and were clear and proactive with instructions. They left some great recommendations of things to do nearby. Highly recommend this Air Bnb to everyone! We had an amazing trip. Thank you all so much!

An especially nice stay! Lots of little touches that were so thoughtful and went above beyond what a typical Airbnb gets you. Wonderful peaceful location in a quiet neighborhood right on the river, with a gazebo to sit in on the waterfront. Close to folk school, great value, nice hosts. 10 min drive to downtown Murphy area. Would happily visit again.

Such a great little cabin! We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a little rough to get to the property, mostly because of this one steep road leading up to it, but not too bad. I was staying there with my Parents, my girlfriend, & my dog Julius. The big deck in the front/side was perfect for keeping him in there and out of the way while we loaded and unloaded the vehicles. Back porch has a peaceful forested view. Front porch view is more expansive and very beautiful, especially when watching the sunrise! The coffee station is maybe the best I’ve ever seen at an Airbnb with plenty of coffee, sugar, and creamer stocked in cute containers with a mini coffee maker. The bathroom was also very clean and well stocked. Had a great walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. Only complaints:the wifi, (which was mainly out due to the storm, & planning to switch it out). The tv was a little confusing to use (which might have been because of the WiFi). Bed in back room was a little springy. 🌞Good

Note-We have already stayed at Firefly cabin once and this time I booked a golf trip for my husband and his friend. This is his review: My buddy and I spent a few days up in Andrews North Carolina at an Airbnb called Firefly Creek, an absolute gem of a spot. The cabin is beautiful with a great back porch with a peaceful stream running behind it. Perfect setting for a relaxing escape. We were mainly up there for some golf and managed to play two incredible courses. The first was Mountain Harbour Golf Club—what a view! The second day, we teed off at Brasstown Valley Resort, which is ranked as one of the top eight courses in Georgia. It totally lived up to the hype—beautifully maintained. In the evenings we hit the casino and luck was on my side! Not so much my friend but we had a great time. Next time we go back hoping to try some fly fishing, plus more golf courses to explore! Highly recommend if you love nature, golf or just a relaxing time in a beautiful place.
