Holiday rentals with a patio in Chemainus

our stay in the studio of Genevieve was great. It had everything we needed in a calm neighborhood but close to the city. It was easy to find and park your car! Genevieve helped when needed en responded quickly to messages. Thank you very much again!

Great place to stay! Clean, accessible, and Lucy was super helpful when our arrival plans got delayed.

We loved this place. The view of cowichan bay and the marina are spectacular and cowichan bay in itself may be the cutest place we’ve ever been. Lots of great restaurants nearby and great for just strolling around. Astrid made an earlier check in possible which was great and the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We felt right at home! Highly recommend

Lydia's place was great for us! So clean, had everything we needed, perfect location. She's very easy to reach anytime and a lovely person. As noted by others there is construction nearby and ambulances bc of nearby hospital but it's only in the day and we got pretty used to it. It's one of the nicest places we've stayed so unless you need quiet all day and won't be going out I wouldn't hesitate to book this lovely place.

Andy and Lydia were fantastic hosts. We felt welcomed and any questions that we had were answered very quickly. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were a breeze thanks to the clear instructions. The area is up and coming, and there are plenty of great spots just a short walk away. It was super close to downtown- easily and safely accessible by car/uber/taxi.

THe apartment exceeded expectations. It was so spacious, sunny and with a great view of the water. The building was grand and very quiet. It was also near the town of Sidney and ferries going to multiple places. My mother and I both had a wonderful time staying here. Neighbors we met were friendly. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the light change on the water and enjoy the lovely weather we had all week. We were only sorry to leave when it was time to go home!

We loved staying at Patrick's place. It was an excellent location, central to so many shops and restaurants. Lots of places to walk. Nice shower. Great to be able to do laundry in the apartment. The apartment was very clean. It was perfect for us. We would highly recommend it!

I had a wonderful stay at Anastasiia's place. The home was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Anastasiia was a thoughtful and responsive host, making sure everything went smoothly throughout my stay. The location was convenient and quiet—perfect for relaxing after a day out. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Ingrid’s home is incredible and was an amazing place to stay for our wedding weekend. The home is beautiful and Ingrid left thoughtful touches around for us. Communication was excellent and we had everything we needed. Exceptional host and exceptional property.

My Family and I had a wonderful stay at Gabriel's property. We were a group of 8 adults and 2 children, and we all fit comfortably inside his home. There was a lot of seating available to dine together as a family, and a lot of separate areas for when we wanted some time for ourselves. The kids enjoyed exploring the beaches for different sea creatures when the tide was low. I would recommend water shoes or something more sturdy than flip flops. The sandy areas created strong suction against our soles, and there are a lot of rocks and shells around the shore area. During high tide, we were visited by some sea lions in the distance. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked many of our meals and there were ample pots, pans, seasonings, plates and cutlery available for our use. The property was clean, and it good condition. Plenty of towels were provided for the beach and hot tub. I would recommend this property for large groups who want a peaceful beach vacation.

What a lovely place to stay!! I almost didnt want to write this review because (selfishly) I don't want more people finding out about this amazing getaway spot! 600m walk to a private beach with dock access.. View of the lake from the backyard.. What more can you ask for. Would 100% stay here again!

We spent a few nights here right after our wedding and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. A beautiful cabin, with a light and airy look and feel. We utilized the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge and all were amazing. We hope to come back again soon!

Josie was a fantastic host. Flexible, responsive, and helpful in providing local recommendations for an area we were new to. The house and property are beautiful, peaceful, and unique. Can't recommend highly enough!

This is one of the best and fully stocked Airbnbs that I have visited in a while!! Dave’s place felt like a true Airbnb experience- he put a lot of thought into hosting guests in his home. I felt he was available and cared for hosting. The home was better than I imagined- with comfortable beds, fully stocked bathrooms and kitchens. The outdoor space was great, the rules were reasonable, the home was big enough, and we were in a great location. We used a car so I can’t speak to access to public transportation, but with a car we were close to grocery stores, restaurants, VIU, and a beach. Thank you, Dave!!

Our stay in this condo was very good. The photos matched the actual surroundings and the hosts were wonderful to work with. The unit is located very close to the Chinatown Train Station (which makes access to & from the airport easy) and a stop on the "Hop On-Hop Off" bus tour very convenient. We were forewarned about areas of the city that were experiencing a lot of homeless people so that we could make sure that any walks were headed in the right direction. Very pleased overall.

Great base for exploring downtown Vancouver. Kitchen has everything you need and convenient to have laundry available when travelling. Elise is a kind and approachable host.

Our stay was amazing!! Christina had snacks placed out for us which we loved, the heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, temperature in the room was great, we really enjoyed the hot tub on sight and the restaurant within walking distance. We went for a walk on the nicely maintained walking trail beside the ocean, and then sat by the propane fireplace and watched the sun set. Lots of available covered parking, wish we stayed longer to try out the pool and other amenities. We loved our stay and would give 6 stars if possible, would stay again

the condo is very clean, well kept, great details and in a very good location. what I did not like was the noise level. although its the 28th floor but the street and metro noise is surprisingly high for such a high floor. I would still go back again to this place as the overall stay was good. also the 3rd br is good for 1 person that is very easy going as it has no windows, no ventilation and no space to walk around. again everything was exactly like the photos so no surprises other than the noise level.

Daman was incredibly communicative and friendly throughout our stay. While the neighborhood isn’t the quietest - expect some sirens from a nearby station and the sounds of downtown nightlife - that’s not Daman’s fault. In fact, he thoughtfully provided disposable earplugs in the nightstand, which was a great touch. The Airbnb itself was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed: shampoo and conditioner, Q-tips, kitchen essentials, tape for mailing packages, garbage bags, plenty of towels, and more. These little conveniences made a big difference in the quality of our stay. The location is just a few blocks from the metro and within easy walking distance of tons of great shopping and dining. Highly recommend checking out The Roxy for a fun night out. We’d definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything!

Iman responds immediately, which is really helpful when you are a stranger in town. Lots of local information. Really nice touches, drinks, snacks, fruit. Everything you could need and more. If I could think of anything missed, I would tell Iman privately, but genuinely I cannot think of anything, he has it all covered. Great city, top host.

Had a great stay - Pam was a responsive host and super accommodating for our needs. The loft is lovely and was pretty much what we expected when we stayed here. Appliances are all fairly new and the location is great. The window does not have shades, so it can get bright in the mornings. Although, natural sun light is a nice way to wake up :) Overall I would strongly recommend staying here.

This was the perfect space to end our four week trip in Canada. The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully equipped for us to enjoy some ‘home’ time. Lots of great stores nearby and stocking up at Granville Island was great for a night in. Would highly recommend both Trevor as a host and this lovely space with killer views 💖
