Holiday rentals with a patio in Chautauqua Lake

The River House was such a pleasant stay a home away from Home where we could relax and enjoy the scenery for our second day it rain but we were able to sit in the patio and just relax while we listened to the rain and cooked burgers. the whole atmosphere was nice and quiet. Enjoyed a little wine by the river with a sun set. When we first arrived Derek was working on his lawn and he greeted us welcomely. Mid afternoon we sat with Phyllis and Derek and got to know them a little on how they enjoyed bed breakfast and them wanted to give that hospitality to others I'd say they nailed it I won't give away any details cause it was fun just finding them and being like that was really thoughtful. Also stop at the City of Warren all the people we got to meet were nice and kind from the small walk we took almost everyone who we walked by greeted us.

Place was clean and it was exactly as it was described. Also had climate control going for our arrival.

As soon as we walked in the door, we felt immediately at home! This was one of the best Air B&B stays that we have ever encountered! My wife was so impressed with how thoughtful the decor was and the welcome basket was yet another detail that we did not expect. The lake view was beautiful and even though the weather wasn't the best, it was the type of place that you could just relax and spend the day right there. Maripat and Tim were truly "Super Hosts" and it was evident with their home and their great communication. They literally thought of everything that you could possibly need and anything else was pretty close by. We had the most relaxing and stress free getaway that we've had in awhile. If our travels take us back to western NY again, I can guarantee that we will be trying to stay at this beautiful place on the lake. If we could give this 12 stars...we would!

The apartment in Holiday Valley was great! I would recommend this spot to anyone planning to travel to Ellicottville whether it is in the summer or during ski season. The view from the building is amazing and it is very close to the town for any of your wants or needs!

Great place! We came back a second time and will stay again when we visit the area. The place has everything you need, nice bedding, very clean.

Very comfortable, well-appointed and meticulously clean home! Supplied with anything you might need. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Host is very responsive. Even your bedding smells clean and fresh. Would like to give 10 stars on this 5 star rating system!

Place was a great stay for 3 of us, very relaxing home to hangout and unwind, would recommend to anyone as there is plenty to do here even if you don’t go out

We had a lovely stay at this lake house in Mayville, NY. The home was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—everything was in perfect order when we arrived. You can tell the hosts put care into creating a welcoming space. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate during our stay, and we had rain and heavy fog most of the time, which limited our ability to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space and lakefront views—the main reason we booked this property. That said, the home itself was a great retreat, and we’d love to come back when the weather is more cooperative to fully enjoy all it has to offer.

It was a beautiful home! Louise was very helpful and kind to our group. I would book the home again for sure!

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

Our children grew up vacationing at my father's cabin on Chautauqua Creek. We were able to gather here and remember, relive, and share those special times and activities. We explored the creek, wading, swimming, skipping stones, walking up and floating downstream. We went hunting for beach glass early in the mornings at Barcelona. We enjoyed a smoked whitefish there at the shore. We shopped the farmer's market, buying amazing baked goods from the Amish, beautiful beachglass jewelry, local maple syrup, and strawberries. The maple glazed donuts are not to be missed! They sell out quickly, so go early! The house was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The layout of the rooms gave the perfect blend of private space and welcoming common areas to do family activities. Our dog was a last minute addition and he was graciously provided with towels, bowls, and toys. We loved walking barefoot on the moss, lazing in hammocks in the woods, and rain on the roof!

We had an amazing week! Everything was just perfect. The house was so comfortable and we were amazed that no matter what we needed, it was there. It was so well stocked and truly felt like home. The backyard is breathtaking. We spent the entire week just relaxing on the back decks, in the hot tub, fishing on the dock and just enjoying the views. John was so helpful and considerate and helped us by recommending a great boat rental. Everything was so well thought out - so appreciated the retractable gate on the deck for the granddaughters! Anything that you need is nearby - grocery store, target, and many ice cream shops! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We had a fabulous time skiing in Ellicottville! What a wonderful town, the people were so incredibly friendly. Restaurants and bars were great! This condo was perfectly located and so nice. We look forward to coming back next year!

Katie’s place was just what we needed. A couple days of “down time” with some friends. The beach is a short walk down the road and there’s a nice Bbq place we discovered. At night, a nice fire by the woods. Katie was very responsive with anything we needed. This place is the bottom level of Katie’s home, so we had the pleasure of hearing her son singing in the distance now and then:) Thanks again.

Great location and stay

We stayed at Stephen’s place this past weekend for the end of ski season. It was cozy, clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Stephen is quick to respond, kind and we would highly recommend staying at the slopeside serenity. I appreciated the complementary bottle of Pinot noir. We will definitely be booking again.

Natalie was incredibly communicative and friendly and the space was lovely and very clean. We will definitely stay there again in the future!

We were a group of two families - 6 adults and 6 teens. The location to the slopes was perfect. We had plenty of sleeping spaces. The kitchen was well equipped to make all of our meals at the condo. Julie and Michael reached out during our stay to make sure everything was as we expected. We will be back!
