Holiday rentals with a kayak in Chatuge Lake

We loved This house! It was the perfect spot on the lake, and the covered boat dock was great! It even had a swing to sit and relax in while the kids enjoyed kayaking and trying to paddle board which gave us lots of laughs 😊 The host supplied the home with so many complimentary items if you forget anything no worries she has it available for you, such a nice change from most of the homes we rent while on vacation! The driveway is perfect especially if pulling a boat or even if you want to take daily walks as I did. The beds are always a big deal for us as we want clean and comfortable and this house had both, they was so comfortable and clean and fresh!! You can truly tell that the host cares about her renters and making their stay amazing!! I could go on and on about this home but unfortunately there is not enough room for me to type all that i need to ..lol...Thank you again Debbie for allowing us to stay in your home, as we truly loved your place and had a wonderful time!

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

Hardystone lake house is stunning both inside and out! Our family of six (4 boys , 2 parents ) had plenty of space and there was something for everyone. We loved that there were enough kayaks for all of us to use and the putting green was a big hit. It also had beautiful views from both decks and the double decker dock! This home was extremely clean, The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you need if you prefer to cook like we do. We hope to be back! Tiny flying bugs would surround the doors at night so be quick opening/closing doors!

Many Airbnb‘s are listed as luxury but often miss the mark. This house has superseded that definition. Not only is it one of the most beautiful houses in which all of us have ever stayed, but it was also brilliantly appointed with that which you might need. The design of the house was incredible and so comfortable that we opted to eat in each night. Cooking in the kitchen was not only enjoyable, but we were left with nothing to be desired in terms of implements or appliances. We all hope to return for another stay.

The home was exactly as described and the hosts were extremely responsive. The dock was our favorite part - it had a great view and was super comfortable. Also, the basement with foosball and ping pong was a great place to hang out. We will be back again soon!

Perfect home for a family or group. Very spacious and clean, fully stocked kitchen we cooked dinner every night! The dock was perfect for tanning and swimming, our daughters also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Very peaceful location. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake trip! This place is a great location , stocked well and can walk to everything in town . Communicate great . We were in town for a wedding at Village on Green -so easy to get to everything.

Great get-away for a family! Lots to do on the property, you can fish, swing, look for salamanders in the creek and look at the waterfall. Sitting by the firepit watching the river go by was relaxing.

Truly a marvel. We were looking for a quiet mountain hideaway and found it. It had everything we could ask for from kayaks, canoeing, fishing campfire even a s'more stick. Cozy enough for my family and I and close to all the Waterfalls. I am very happy with this place and would be happy to stay again.

This cozy, beautiful spot is a treasure! Kim was very attentive to details in creating a space that is welcoming and feels like home. The kitchen was well equipped, decor blends modern and mountain cottage. Plenty to entertain at the house or nearby. The description helped us know how to best plan our visit to the area and there were great tips and maps at the house too. Beautiful scenery and a great place to enjoy birds, fall foliage, hiking and much more. So thankful for a great getaway!

Patsy’s place was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. Seeing it with our own eyes was even better than the pictures on the listing. Beautiful lake front. Multiple outside dining and grilling spaces and a dock. There were only 4 of us but 3-4 more peeps could’ve joined us comfortably. Patsy was great with communicating and answering our questions. We would come back.

Gorgeous all around. We all agreed it was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Views from the house and access to the water and the outdoor dining area were splendid.

We LOVED our stay. Perfect location! You felt like you were worlds away but were actually close to everything. Easy to get to (a little bumpy on the dirt road leading to it), close to everything, and the best layout. The house had everything we needed and more. Can’t wait to come back!

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

Had a beautiful Valentine’s Day vacation at Viewtopia! Instructions for every detail were extremely clear and accurate. The house was better stocked than my own house haha, making it easy to spend a nice cozy weekend enjoy the warmth and views! Couldn’t even make up a single complaint if I tried. Would recommend 10/10 times!

Everything about it was perfect. Make sure you have a good car with the ability to go into low gear or all wheel drive. The steep switch backs arnt for the faint hearted. I appreciated the seasonings and tooth picks and all the extra small things that made it all more worth it. I wish the rule book had been on the table with the welcoming card. I didn’t notice it until my last day. But that is my fault . I couldn’t have been more satisfied . It was peaceful and more serene than I anticipated. Definitely coming back here.

We had a wonderful stay at this Blue Ridge cabin! The cabin vibes were exactly what we were hoping for peaceful, cozy, and relaxing. We especially loved the screened-in porch, which was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. The beds were very comfortable, and the location was great close to everything but still felt tucked away and quiet. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again!

Such a charming cabin! It was super clean, had everything we needed. The community was so quiet and peaceful. We fished from the dock, spent our nights playing mahjong at the kitchen bar top. It was great!
