Holiday houses in Charters Towers

We stayed in the sumptuous master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, of a grand old house on which Simon is currently carrying out an ambitious restoration. This is one of Charters Towers grandest old houses. Simon is a brilliant host and very knowledgeable on local history. The interior is grand and beautifully furnished.

Great house with lots of room for everyone in the family, pool for the kids to cool off was great, clean, tidy, basics like washing powder, soap and shampoo and cond supplied, this is a great place to stay for families!

Great spot, easy to access, quiet, good neighbours, Katarina was helpful with recommendations, the Sovereign Hotel had excellent meals, the generous Charters Towers slot machines helped my wallet too (kids, don't gamble)!

A lovely historic house and very appealing. My husband made use of the pool and found it very refreshing. Fred gave us some history of the house and was a very attentive host. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Charter Towers.

Beautiful apartment and Katarina was very responsive and polite. The apartment was so clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed during our stay. Comfy bed and beautiful bedding. Thank you! We will be back for sure!

This is really remarkable place in Charters towers. The house really quite, cozy and clean, we had really good sleep here. Fred is really good host, when we got here, he showed us around and shared a lots of info about the house. Breakfast also included, some bread and Croissant, yogurt, peanuts butter and butter. The house located just at the corner of the main streets, easy to get to. And car park right outside of the house. I will give 10/10 for the stay and also the wonderful host.

Great place to stay. Beautiful property. Close to shops. Great response time from Tegan on any questions I asked. Worth the stay.

A real hidden gem ! The accommodation setup is just perfect- very comfortable & sparkling clean .Christine is an excellent thoughtful host , full of information and suggestions on exploring the area. As an extra , delicious treats were offered on my arrival after a day of travelling. I will be returning to this property without hesitation, Thank you 🌺🌸🌼
