Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Charmey, Val-de-Charmey

Our family of four had a pleasant stay at Yukiyo's residence. The location was advantageous and well-suited for commuting to various destinations. While we encountered a minor inconvenience with a malfunctioning washing machine, Yukiyo made commendable efforts to address the issue. The house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, we encountered a challenge with the provision of garbage bags, as Switzerland utilizes taxed garbage bags and the house only provided one large bag for our five-night stay. This posed a slight inconvenience, as additional bags needed to be purchased in bulk from supermarkets. Overall, our experience was satisfactory.

A charming place, surrounded by greenery and cows, ideal for relaxing. Isabelle, our hostess, is a very welcoming and smiling person, who was able to inform us well. The only small inconvenience of our stay was the lack of outdoor light to enjoy the terrace in the evening, or maybe we couldn't find it. Anyway, it didn't spoil our very pleasant weekend.

Spending time at Sabrina's is so comforting. It's the second time for us, and it felt lukewarm we never left we found everything we needed, and more. The view from the rooms each morning were cleaning off the fuzzy brains we came with from work. Very well positioned, the location allows reaching all important travel marks, within short drives or walls. Interlaken being 10 mins away, and supermarkets being open for longer hours than usually are in Seitzerland, allows proper refill of the fridge, in case cooking is desired for the family. Kitchen worth mentioning is equipped with performant appliances, and kitchenware completes fully the need one may have; both for small families as well as 6 persons as the max capacity is. I stayed in Chamonix for 2 nights and 3 days, and I really didn't want to leave on the last day. The owners were so kind, and you will never forget the Aiguidimidi and Mont Blanc view from the kitchen. The food was good, and it was not far from the Aiguidimidi cable car, so it was easy enough to walk. The sound of birds in the morning, the cute cat that appears in the middle, and the wonderful Mont Blanc view were so nice. Big thanks to Sylvian and Jean-Paul.

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The stay with Amandine went very well! The setting of the accommodation is quiet and very nice, the accommodation is spacious and clean.

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

Sarah was incredibly kind and helpful! She always responded promptly and helped us with all our requests! The place is really spacious, new and modern. Absolutely recommended for families, even with very young children. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen is very well stocked. We'd love to come back in the future.

Nice & cozy place to stay. Comfortable beds. Top equipped (even table grill & fondue dishes available). Grocery stores and gondola very close. Thermal bath (Hotel Nendaz) is also very close. Heinz responds quickly to questions & is very friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay - thank you!

Great stay in Switzerland with Alina who is very responsive and kind! The photos are a good fit for the listing and the details from the host were so helpful. In addition, Alina had left a little Easter treat for our grandson! I would highly recommend it!

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

Ghislaine was very accommodating, particularly as the booking was so last minute. The cosy and characterful apartment was very convenient for reaching the restaurants and amenities of Morzine and also getting outwards Avoriaz for higher altitude skiing, with the bus stopping outside the apartment block. I imagine it is also a great place to stay for the summer with the proximity to the beautiful mountains and all they can offer. Thanks for sharing your apartment!

Kristina was extremely helpful in helping me to find transfer options from Milan. She was proactive in making recommendations for restaurants in the town and checked in to ensure that we were all having a great holiday.

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how well the coffee ended and this without capsules. happy to be back in Patrizia's apartment.
