Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chapel Allerton

Great spot in a cute town with lovely views. Lots of clean bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Great spot in between Leeds and York. Only downside was there isn’t a living room but this was fine for our purposes for a short stay.

Firstly I like to thank emma for how accommodating you've been during our say. You couldn't do enough for us. and it didn't go unnoticed. we'd love to come back once the play barn has had its makeover. my only suggestion would be you get a pop up gazebo for over the hottub. With this coming at a additional cost and not been able to use it during the first night £60 seemed a little steep for the rental. But i do appreciate you don't control the weather. A pop up gazebo would have meant we could have used it both days. p.s thank you for posting back the things my kids left. buying them easter eggs and marshmallows for the fire pit. thank you

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

We had a fantastic stay at Sonia's place, the cottage was beautiful and was perfect for our family to stay over New Year. There was lots to do in the area and the cottage was in a great location. The hot tub was a fab addition in the frosty weather! Communication with Sonia was good and quick. Thank you! 😊

From booking this property to checking out, everything was made easy and convenient. The host was really responsive and rapid too. He was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He was able to offer lots of recommendations for local food outlets and places to go. Thank you for a fab stay!

Great cottage! Like home from home, very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful walks around the cottage and a lovely pub 5 mins walk away. Would recommend this cottage, had a fabulous little break with all the family. Many thanks.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! A lovely relaxing home with lots of lovely touches. The hosts were so welcoming, gave us lots of local tips and didn’t mind us asking lots of questions! Highly recommend as a base to go off walking in the Peaks or Dales. Nice local pubs too. The kids loved the trampoline. Thank you

Lovely homely apartment, we were well looked after, a great stay.

We loved our stay in this cute barn. It is clean, cosy and very comfortable. The location is very private and surrounded by woodland. We enjoyed walks from the door around Ripponden as well as from Hebdon Bridge and the beautiful surrounding area. We met Jill briefly while she was out walking her dog and she checked that we were happy with everything. I would highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay, gorgeous bedrooms and comfy beds. Enough bathrooms/ toilets for 8 of us. Lots of seating areas and the pool table room was brilliant. Short 10 min walk to lively pubs and places to eat. Spaces to park cars and the house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back

We loved The Cow Shed. Just off the A1 so really convenient for our trip to Bramham. Although the A1 was very near We couldn't hear the traffic when inside the house. We had two large dogs who were able to stretch out and there was a track to walk them down safely for exercise. There was everything we needed in terms of accommodation and it had tasteful decor and was nice and clean.

We were planning a few days away primarily to visit Saltaire and Salts Mill and this accommodation was perfectly sited! Everything you might need to get started is provided, fresh home-made bread included! (which was delicious) The views from all windows are stunning, a real place to get away from it all. The annexe was very cosy and warm with ample seating and a very large, comfortable bed! We also had a trip into Leeds by train (from Weeton Station) but there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied in the area.

Hywel was an exceptional host, and the property was beautiful. He was very considerate, the furnishings were superb and extremely comfortable and represents great value for money. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Sarah was super responsive from the start, reaching out to us and was very clear on where everything was in the property. The property itself was very nice, and had enough plates, glasses, cups and cutlery. We went to explore the nearby area and Sarah had some great tips of where to go and what to see.

We had a great couple of days stay. The loft was a good size, very clean and just as described. Due to the weather we didn't get a chance to sit in the garden area but it did look very peacefully and nice. It was a great base to go out waking an exploring. The instructions left by Hilly were easy follow and despite Hilly not being there during our stay was very responsive and accommodating. We got sent clear Instructions on where to go. The sat nav does sent you off a bit too far! We would highly recommend Hilly as a host and the loft to stay in. We would definitely stay again. It had everything we needed.

We felt very much at home here. Absolutely beautiful and well renovated home nestled in the gorgeous Yorkshire landscape. One of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed at, we would have loved to stay longer if we’d had more available time. Thanks for making us feel so at ease xx

quaint charming comfortable cottage in a lovely village walking distance to pubs and restaurants and beautiful lake with boathouse converted to a tea room overlooking lake. For us carparking was the only issue we had was trying to find a safe place to park and leave the car on returning to property due to narrow lanes and trying not to obstruct pathways for pedestrians as was busy with cars already parked but it did not spoil the lovely weekend we had there. Everyone you meet were very welcoming and friendly 😊

Hi Cath Thank you for a lovely stay in your gorgeous barn. It was perfect for our needs and we had a really lovely time at Bramham. Our horse did well cross country - clear over a big course, but he had 3 show jumps down - not his forte!! I hope your grand-daughter got to see him. It’s a lovely cottage in a great village. Beautiful garden, nicely decorated and spacious. Everything works. Perfect spot for exploring the Dales, and very handy for Leeds and Bradford.

Lovely, traditional terraced house in a fabulous location. Walking distance to great restaurants and pubs. Spotlessly clean and lovely comfortable beds. Jackie was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the farm cottage for a concert at the Piece Hall, it was just a 20 min walk which was perfect. Loved the location and Tom gave clear instructions on checking in and out. Would defo return for a weekend in Halifax.
