Apartment holiday rentals in Channel Islands Beach

Right on the ocean was expected, but the beach disappears during high tide. Was quiet for being right on the PCH but that is Malibu. Staff was responsible and fixed a minor issue as soon as the daytime staff arrived. All-round good stay...

My overall 5 star review of this listing is for Peter and his attentiveness and willingness to help and be available to us when we needed. However, I’ve also shared some details worth noting. Pros of the apartment: -location and walkability to restaurants and markets (Trader Joe’s is around the corner and same with Target) - two side by side underground and secure parking. -Great value for location. Cons of the apartment: - very thin walls. Can hear everything. - street noise as unit faces 6th Street. - bedrooms have no black outs so lots of light coming in early (great if you’re an early riser!)

Excellent place, prime location, nice secure condo building. Host was very communicative and flexible with our check in process.

The place was impeccably clean, located far from the street so it was very private and peaceful. Everything in the apartment worked flawlessly. Parking my rental car on the street with the guest permit was a big plus, very convenient.

Our family enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Everything was as pictured in the description. The apartment was very clean and walkable to Trader Joe’s, Target and all kinds of restaurants. We are grateful to the owner and staff. They went above and beyond to help us out when we needed to add an additional day to our stay due to an emergency. Unfortunately, the apartment was already booked so the staff found us another place just two blocks away. The owner was also very flexible with our check out due to our situation. We would definitely book this place again.

The host was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Definitely would love to book again!

Another great stay at Madison's place, would return again

There were a lot of good things about this place you would expect like very clean, easy to find, responsive host and great location, but there were also some unexpected really great things like the cozy blanket for the couch, the warm LED lighting in the living room and bedroom, and just overall, really nice place with good vibes. We enjoyed our stay! It was really relaxing.

I think one of the strongest points of this Airbnb is the location, although you have to navigate windy roads, you find yourself at the very top of Malibu; the epic views and peaceful vibe make it well worth the drive. The Airbnb sits beneath the main house; although it is private, you are not detached. I had no issue as the host Nicholas is a wonderful man, a great communicator, and was very helpful. A blissful stay for me!

Oraklus's place was just as it appeared in the pictures. Very spacious and great ocean views. Great breakfast restaurant just steps away. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place in the heart of Santa Monica in a walking distance from the pier. Super clean and nice cozy place (there was no coffee beans for the coffee machine though). Really recommend it!

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay and loved the cottage, the astonishing views, the quietness and piece of the mountains, John was very responsive so attentive and kind , all of the amenities offered were listed and how efficient the space is was just perfect for what we needed, we felt very comfortable and will stay here again.

This is my son's and I second time enjoying this wonderful place . We loved the quiet and peacefulness of the surroundings. Everything fit our needs. We would love to make this a yearly trip. Thanks for being such a great host!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The airbnb itself was really lovely and the host was very responsive. There was unfortunately construction going on right outside the front door. The check in time was delayed ~30 min however the host let us drop our bags off which was appreciated.

Great place to stay for the week. Joesph was quick to respond to any questions that we had and was one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in.

The apartment is so lovely, amazing view! You're right across the ocean. A lot of space, gym, great kitchen, everything you need :-) communication was great! I 100% recommend and will be back

Julie and Dave are just lovely people, even the groundskeeper Jesus is awesome. She responses so quick to any inquiries you have during your say. Julie had some extra freshly baked bread and it was delicious along with a yummy apple from their garden, fully organic pesticide free :). The place is nice and clean, bed cozy, clean linen, towels, and kitchenware. YOU MUST FOLLOW her directions to get to the property or else you won't make it lol. Once you learn the way its fun to ride up the canyon roads :D. The high speed internet is great which is a must because you will not have cell service up in the mountains which i didn't mind, just que up your directions on GPS before you leave and you'll be all good. The backyard is as described, simply beautiful with a view to match. Only downside is minor, you don't have a driveway access so at times when there are guest in the other units it can get a little tight on the street. Ultimately would def stay again, peaceful getaway in A+ location!

Great stay! Clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom is huge! Only thing to make sure you are aware of is the spiral staircase going up to the unit would be difficult with heavy luggage or someone older. We were well aware of the spiral staircase so knew what to expect and it didn't affect us negatively.

I have an annual golf trip in Ojai and prefer an AirBnB. This place suited my needs. Quiet. Clean. Great, hot shower. Comfy bed. Microwave and mini fridge. I’m not really in the places that much when I’m in town so that’s about. Only star I would ding the place for is just that it’s a ways back behind the house and away from the street on a semi uneven stone walkway. It’s not an issue for me since I’m able. But if you needed to roll any luggage or had an unsteady gait, this might not be a perfect fit. Otherwise. No notes. Friendly communicable hosts are always appreciated which they are.

Loved everything about our stay—would definitely come back!

I had a wonderful stay at Victor's place in Ventura. It is in a quiet neighborhood just steps to the beach with several restaurants and shops within walking distance - Duke's in particular was a great place with good food and local flavor. The beds were comfortable and the backyard space was a real treat. I would definitely stay here again.

It was home away from home from the moment we walked in--peaceful, comfortable, light and airy, open floor plan, tasteful decor and spotlessly clean. Rajvir is always an amazing host and we were fortunate to stay in one of her places again. The neighborhood is perfect for walking with gorgeous landscaping and the on site work out facility is an added bonus.

Although the place was obviously older, they did a great job with decorating it and updating it. Jason was great and very responsive during the stay as well.

Great location, pristine condition and lovely home. Both bedrooms are very comfortable. Highly recommend this accommodation. I would stay here again.
