Staying at Massiah’s villa was wonderful! She is not only an incredibly attentive and helpful host, but the grounds and the room were also exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for my short, yet truly lovely trip to Zanzibar. I definitely recommend her villa and this area to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to stay.

Great place to stay at in Zanzibar and an even greater host. We loved the place so much that when we return we definately will stay there again. The ambience was also really good and the host was amazing.Thank you so much for making us feel at home. The home is right at the centre of all attractions in Stone Town and gives you a local Zanzibar feel.

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

The waterfront Staycation

Me and my friends had such an amazing experience as our first time in zanzibar and staying at the waterfront staycation. The host Mundhir was the best!! He was so helpful and responsive and gave us everything we needed. His staff was amazing as well, the cook and our breakfast meals were always something to look forward to! From groceries and ordering food to even providing shisha and a trusted driver James! The accomodation was very comfortable and spacious and the pool was great. The only to keep in mind is that the area is secluded from the city but great for a relaxing staycation. Thank you so much to Mundhir and the team, wonderful experience and 10/10 would highly recommend!

A Perfect Home Away from Home – Highly Recommended! From the moment I arrived in Zanzibar, the host’s warmth and hospitality made everything seamless. I reached out ahead of check-in time to ask if I could drop off my bags early before heading to Nungwi—and she was so kind and accommodating. That flexibility alone set the tone for an amazing stay. The apartment was everything I hoped for and more. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with cozy, thoughtful touches. The green décor gave the space a fresh, serene atmosphere that instantly made it feel like home. One detail I really appreciated was the baby crib in the master bedroom—a considerate feature for families traveling with little ones. As a book lover, I was thrilled to find a small collection of books, perfectly curated and inviting. That felt incredibly special to me. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! The space was warm, welcoming, and so well thought out.

The Amazon Room /5mins away from the airport

Me and my 12 year old son were leaving Tanzania and had a late flight out of Zanzibar. We wanted a place to rest before our long flight back to the US so we chose to spend the afternoon/evening at RiRi's place. She was very accomodating and was a huge help with organizing transportation to/from Stonetown and the Airport. It was a nice ending to our trip and we really appreciated her hospitality. Her home was beautiful and absolutely spotless. After traveling for weeks it was really nice to see a living room with a couch and a TV with Netflix. We would most definitely stay here again.

This is the one & I’ll definitely be back special thanks to the staff here. they are incredibly friendly, informative, and always eager to help, making the stay even more special. Chef Ahmed’s food is nothing short of mouthwatering.
