Le Moulin de la Forge: loft between woods and river

In the heart of the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park, 30 minutes from Limoges: at the exit of the village, past the stone bridge, the alley of old trees welcomes you in a bath of greenery. The wooded land on 6 ha is nestled in a meander of the small river, the Gorre. The mill is located along the head race; a bamboo grove softens the northern flank while to the south, the terrace of the cottage overlooks the edge of the woods. The facade mirrors the old dwelling house and the ruined barn.

We look forward to welcoming you into the characterful 'Petit Manoir' in the heart of the Perigord Vert. Our extensive gardens are the perfect place to relax, or if you wish to venture further, there are plenty of walks from the front door. The charming wing includes a master bedroom on the first floor with adjoining pigeonnier for use as study or extra bedroom, while the ground floor comprises a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, open plan living/dining room and an exercise room.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Set in a secluded spot. Your cabin includes air conditioning, double bed, ensuite shower room with toilet and wash basin. Towels and bed linen provided. Open your doors on to a verandah facing east for the morning sunrise with a table and chairs for outside dining. Under the tree house there is a breakfast bar, kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery, crockery, glasses and pans. 2 hammocks strung between trees. Shaded parking

For convenience, we have a room in a separate cottage in the same hamlet. One more reason to get together as a family.

Vous pourrez également vous reposer dans le salon équipée de sa grande télé connectée ! L’appartement dispose d’une cuisine entièrement équipée (four/micro-ondes/plaques induction/bouilloire/ cafetière Dolce Gusto/grille pain et frigo) et d’un coin repas. Parking privatif devant le logement.

Relax in this unique and quiet caravan. You are surrounded by grass and the cows are not far away. There is a summer terrace with a plancha. Inside, there is a mattress for a child. The kitchen has a microwave oven, a refrigerator and an induction hob. You will only have access to the jacuzzi or the Nordic bath when the other accommodation units are VACANT (this is common during the week)
