Holiday houses in Chalk Sound

My husband and I loved this place. Private, gorgeous house, and a sweet little beach in front. The owners thought of everything, including beach lounges and umbrella, so it's an effortless transition from house to pool to beach. Shallow waters make kayak launches a breeze. There's a little evening noise from a nearby club, but it was far enough away not to be a problem. The location is on a sound and not ocean front, but when we visited Grace Bay Beach one day, we agreed that staying in Amalfi on the sound was a sanctuary in comparison. Highly recommended.

Wishing Fish was everything just as pictured and described. The gazebo is amazing, there’s a short walk to the very private and very beautiful Taylor Bay Beach. The walk down to the beach is a mini-mini hike lined with tropical plants and lush bushes- definitely will need Tevas water shoes or Chacos as flip flops or going barefoot won’t do for the walk down to the beach. Overall it was perfect, spacious, BRIGHT, and the snacks waiting for us was an amazing staple after a long day of travel before we could get to the store. The water cooler was also a fabulous bonus that we didn’t know about- such a money saver as we just refilled our water bottles. The outdoor shower was amazing, some people used it to actually shower in as it is very private 🤭🤭. We would definitely recommend the villa, the surrounding houses were gorgeous. We were checked on throughout the week and only ONE minor inconvenience was immediately addressed, but we felt it not needed to fix during our stay. Def book!!

Great location and a water view from the upstairs terrace. The road separates the water from the villa and there are a few cars that pass by but it’s not annoying. Loved the quietness of the neighborhood. The villa itself is great and was equipped with everything needed. The grill worked fine and the pool is a nice touch to end the evening to cool off. The beach wagon was useful. Loved that it is just a few minutes walk to Sapodilla Beach and a short few minute drive to Taylor Bay Beach which was our fav beach in the island. Nice outside foot washing station to rinse the sand off before entering the unit. We enjoyed the outside shower as well. Everything was clean and as advertised. Should we come back to TCI, we would stay again.

Absolute hidden gem. Well worth the cost. Had the best private beach on that side of the island with no rocks and ample dry sandy area which is not always the case on that side. Felt like we really lucked out with this place and would recommend to anyone to stay there. Perfect place for a romantic getaway or for a small family. Felt like our own slice of heaven. Would recommend having a car, there is a nice grocery store you can stock up the house and never leave if you wish. They recommended a great driver for when we wanted to go out and have a drinks that picked us up in a brand new Escalade and was extremely affordable. We heard other friends that were getting taken advantage of by drivers and this showed you can trust their recommendations. Just book it you will love it guaranteed. I felt bad for the people spending all that money at the Ritz or other places when they could have had this gem instead, we were the envy of all the wedding guests for finding the best place on island.

I absolutely loved staying here with my partner. The place is pristine and has everything you could possibly need. The pool/ backyard area is huge, private, and gorgeous. I didn’t expect to go swimming in the pool as much as we did but it was just irresistible. We were celebrating our anniversary and they left us flowers, champagne, and a lovely card which I found so thoughtful. They even left us coconuts in the fridge which were delicious. Would recommend and stay here again. Thank you guys!

Great stay in Turtle Cove! The apartment is exactly as listed in the pictures. The location is good if you have a car. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to Grace Bay area. Host was super nice and responsive, would definitely stay again!

We just returned from the most relaxing stay at Silly Creek Cottage—and “relaxing” doesn’t begin to describe it. The view from the deck and poolside was so stunning, we skipped most dinner and day plans just to soak it in. This was our second time in Turks (previously stayed in Grace Bay), and while both spots have their charm, Silly Creek offers a peaceful, private vibe that’s truly special—yet still just 25-30 minutes to town. Jack ,the outdoor cat, was the sweetest surprise—adorable, friendly, and a polite host! (We left food and his new favorite: Bumble Bee tuna.) Kayaking to the inlet at sunrise was magical, and sunsets with wine on the dock were unforgettable. Don’t miss Taylor Bay for crystal-clear, shallow waters and a quiet beach experience. (Under 5 min drive). The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. After five nights here, we wished we’d stayed the full two weeks. This place is perfection—we’re already planning our return!

Fantastic villa in a great location. The property is gated with a security system in the house. We had access to a paddleboard and kayak which we used every day. The property was clean, and the property manager was always responsive. Sapodilla Bay is only a short paddleboard away for access to a few beachside bars. Overall, great place where I would gladly stay again.
