The Emerald Lodge | 5BR Sleeps 21 | Chain O'Lakes

DeborahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Lodge! Hadieh has obviously put a lot of thought into making it comfortable, and very easy to live in. The kitchen had anything you needed, and the whole house was well marked with identifying stickers on cabinets and switches. The few questions we had were quickly answered, and our family of 9 was most happy with our stay.

House in the Woods

KevinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house was secluded in a tree filled property in farm country— quiet, with deer coming to visit. It was very clean and comfortable—well appointed, but not so upscale that one can’t relax there. The kitchen is spacious and has what you need to cook a good meal. We really enjoyed our weekend there and plan to return next year for our conference.

Lakefront retreat on 7 Acres! Kayak! Canoe! Spa!

KaylaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a last-minute change in our travel plans and still wanted to make the most of our vacation. Luckily, my husband found the Blackberry Lodge—and what an amazing find it was! We’re so happy we chose to stay here. From the start, Andrew (the owner and Super Host) was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and understanding about our situation. He made everything so easy, even on short notice. The lodge itself had everything we needed to feel completely at home—cozy, well-equipped, and full of charm. We truly enjoyed every moment and are already looking forward to coming back to create even more wonderful memories. Highly recommend this place and host. Thank you, Andrew!

Cozy Cabin near Everything!!!

AlayneRating, 5 stars59 months ago
We like to stay in Waupaca while my daughter, who has special needs, is at Wild West Campgroud for horse camp. This allows us to be near in case something were to happen. The cottage is fantastic. Very cute and recently updated. It had all the supplies we needed for cooking, including a charcoal grill on the top deck. There was also one below deck (along with a pizza smoker), but we didn't use that one. Towels and linens were provided. I would recommend to future guests that they bring their own toilet paper, paper towels, washcloths for the bathroom, and dish rags for the sink. I also recommend bringing lawn chairs. There is a beautiful yard that we didn't get to take advantage of because we didn't think to bring chairs. The view of the lake is very nice. The lake itself...not so much. You cannot swim in the lake. It's very shallow with a mucky bottom. We brought our kayaks and skillfully got them into the water. There isn't really a good spot to do this, but we're in shape, so we managed just fine. The lake is great for a peaceful kayak or canoe trip around. We saw a lot of wildlife -- deer. bunnies, frogs, geese...just to name a few. The cabin really is close to everything. We brought our bikes and used the Wau-King Trail to go to Clear Water Harbor Resort, and then biked back on the roads. We also biked downtown one day, and visited South Park beach, which is really nice. Again, you can get there using the Wau-King trail. We were close to everything and took advantage of all that Waupaca has to offer, including the chain o'lakes, the public swimming pier at Marl Lake, a kayak trip down the Crystal River (with Adventure Outfitters), and Hartman Creek State Park (the trails by bike, and swimming at the beach). We even through the bikes back on the car and took a trip down the Tomorrow River trail in Scandanavia -- a short 20 min ride away from the cabin. All in all, a fantastic vacation! Thank you, Abby!

70's-80's Vintage Cottage on Round Lake

JimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The place was great! Fit all of us well! The beds were extremely comfy also which is always a pleasant addition to the experience. We had one very minor issue with the water but turns out the problem was just an accident on our end but the owner was very quick to respond and told us exactly what to look for right away. They had plenty of water activities for us to use for the downtime including a swim platform, kayaks, and paddle boards that all were kept clean and neatly placed for easy use. Overall a great stay for a short weekend up north!

Lake Life, Fire Nights, Hot Tub Vibes

MollyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Blue Pearl was bliss. The moment we arrived we were able to relax, get our suits on, and paddle away. The lake is peaceful and the amenities support the use of it and the overall property. The hot tub was a treat in the evenings and on the rainy day. Becky was friendly and responsive. We will be back!!

White Lake Cabin Retreat (Waupaca)

PamRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We enjoyed how peaceful the area was. We were looking for a place on a smaller lake to kayak and relax. Plus, it had to be convenient to the wedding venue. This place checked off all of our list if wants.
