This comfortable rural house is located in the village of Lindoso, in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park, Alto Minho region. The village of Lindoso is well known for its Medieval Castle and one of the largest clusters of typical granite granaries (”espigueiros”). This is an old stone house next to an old water mill. Both have been rebuilt in harmony with the traditional architecture of the region. It is an invitation to enjoy the peace and the landscapes of the rural environment. DESCRIPTION: One double bedroom with a bathroom (shower). Living/dining room with TV. Equipped with stove, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Bed linens, towels, and products for breakfast included. Central heating, private parking and a small private area outside. The house has a pellet fireplace .

Casa Merteira has been completely renovated and designed to disconnect. Located on the outskirts of the city, in a quiet area 5 minutes by car from the intermodal station and downtown; we have an urban bus stop in front of the accommodation. Allariz or Ribadavia are a 20-minute drive away, Ribeira Sacra is 45 minutes away; Vigo or Santiago are 1 hour away. It is distributed in a living room-kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom on the lower floor and a double bedroom with bathroom on the upper floor.

The house has been restored by the owner using recycled items and woods cut in the forrest. So it has a very artistic touch,and handmade feeling. You are right on the river shore ,surrounded by oak forest and old walking trails. A very peaceful spot. La casa fue construido por la duena usando materiales recicladas y maderas cortadas en su propio bosque . A si que da un toque muy personal artistico . El terreno linda con el rio Verdugo en la que se puede encontrar pozas aptos para el bano .

La casa cuenta con una pequeña terraza desde la que podréis disfrutar de unas hermosas vistas al Cañón del Sil. El entorno está marcado por el cultivo de viñedo en calzadas, característico de toda esta zona y uno de sus principales valores. Old chapel restored as a home in one of the most emblematic estates for making Ribeiro wine. The first mentions of the Compostelana chapter property in the vicinity of Ribadavia date back to the end of the 12th century.
