Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Cercal do Alentejo

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in! It is even more beautiful than it looks like in the photos, with great views on both sides (it’s located on a corner atop of the hill). We stayed for a full month and traveled with our 6 month old baby, and Cruz provided us with both a high chair and a baby cot. There’s walking distance to decent surf. Parking was super easy. Maria downstairs is lovely and super helpful if you need anything. Lamelas next door is a great restaurant. We would definitely stay again! PS Don’t miss out on the market with fresh fish and vegetables! It’s in a very anonymous-looking building. Search for Mercado Municipal Porto Côvo. It looks closed but it is open!

Pedro's house is really very cozy and beautiful. the garden is quiet and large. the children could play great here. the house is clean and well laid out. Pedro is friendly and easily accessible. We would always come back.

Located in a pretty valley next to the river. The place has stone floors and is tastfully decorated with comfortable beds. The pool area is a couple of minutes walk. We had a friendly cat that would come and say hello every day! This place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. There was fresh bread delivered every day. On arrival there were yogurts, jam and cheese provided. We really enjoyed the free yoga lessons (Wed and Sat only). Lots of nice beaches nearby but our favourite was Praia da Amoreira - a beautiful beach and a long stretch where you can swim in the river (where the river meets the sea).

I had a fantastic stay at André’s place in the old town of Aljezur! The location is perfect—just steps away from great restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. André was an incredible host—when I mentioned the heater wasn’t working, he replaced it immediately, which I really appreciated. He was always available and shared so many great events and local spots with me on text message. Even though we did not meet in person André seems like a wonderful person, super helpful and proactive. Highly recommend staying here!

wonderful house just outside of the small town. The house is spacious, with a large garden and a very nice porch where you can eat and relax overlooking the country side. You really feel at home. The check-in information provided by the host are really precise. Really recommended

Ana was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much effort. The bathroom sink was blocked and as soon as we informed her she arranged a plumber, she organised extra blankets for when it was chilly and was very informative about what we could do in the local area. The location is very special. It is simple accommodation but comfortable and very quiet, in the middle of nature. A very special place. We had a wonderful stay, thank you !

Wonderful stay at Sophie’s. The house is great, plenty of details to ensure you a perfect stay. Nice and quiet place. You can enjoy this amazing area of Portugal, while being warm and quiet when you get back home. Sophie is a superb host!!

Very nice house with beautiful garden and refreshing swimming pool. Has all the comforts and more than enough space. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting with beautiful beaches and in the middle of nature.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is perfect for family vacation: very comfortable, funcional, pretty and well organized. The pool and outside area are very well kept and provided entertainment for the kids throughout the day. Fells like a loving home.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Abela's house. Tiago is a great host, super attentive, and flexible with the times of entry and exit of the accommodation. The house is beautiful and is really well equipped with everything you need, extremely clean and just like the photos!

We had wonderful stay at Ellis and Camilla's Rural Escapes. The space and accommodation was incredible and the attention the hosts gave us was caring and unique. We absolutely recommend the bread and pizza dough they cook and having the possibility to attend to Camilla yoga classes was a precious gift. Thank you again for everything. We hope to visit again soon. :))

Lovely peaceful house with great outdoor space, the dogs enjoyed the walking from the house and the pool was a bonus and well maintained. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was easy to find with google maps.

The apartment is in a very peaceful, rural setting with a great view over the garden to the coast - and has easy access to the Serra de Monchique and the coast. Parking was easy, the apartment had everything we needed, and Malte is a very responsive host. Thank you.

The house and space Are wonderful, everything in great condition and with everything that is needed (from kitchen dishes and utensils, towels, furniture, sockets, to repellent and betadine!) that denotes special attention to the guests that is completed by ice in the freezer and bottles of water on the arrival. As Views Are beautiful and provide publicity relaxation. The only if not would be the access road that is long and very stoned (in our case it was not a problem) but provides an isolated and quiet space. The place consists of a country house divided into 3 different accommodations, we stay in the smallest. It has a small living room kitchen, a room with a double bed and a bathroom. The surroundings of the house are lovely, in the middle of the countryside, with many sheep coming to graze next to the house, lots of flowers and lots of nature. The sheep watchdog can be a bit noisy at night, and extremely friendly if it's loose. There was wood in quantity for the fireplace, we didn't get cold. The bed is double but I would say a little narrow, it would not highlight the comfort of the bed or the sofa. The road of arrival is a dirt road with some difficult parts, but any normal car should be able to pass. For two people it's great, I would go again. I was able to work remotely with the satellite internet.

A beautiful house, very cozy and tasteful. Everything that was needed was there. Very clean and maintained. Great garden. All rooms were decorated with fresh flowers, coffee was ready. I'd love to come back. Highly recommended by us.

We were staying two nights, and everything was great at Natalie's house. It is comfortable and perfectly clean, the communication with the host was excellent. The kitchen has basic items - great for breakfast. The beds are really comfortable and the house is well situated right on the Rota Vicentina trail on the main street of Odeceixe next to cafes (one is next door) and restaurants.

We stayed there for four nights and enjoyed it. Above all, the nearby beaches (the nearest in 30 minutes on foot, but also accessible by car) are beautiful and exciting. Shopping and gastronomy within walking distance. Ana and her family were very friendly and open.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a tranquil place in the midst of nature in Monchique. Yvonne is a great host and super helpful with recommendations. Hoping to be back someday!

The house is very good, it was neat, clean and well-equipped. The place is isolated, providing silence, fresh air and contact with nature. An excellent option for those looking for peace of mind in Alentejo. We recommend it.
