Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Centre-Val de Loire

We have just returned from a week at Brigette’s gite. It was absolutely stunning on arrival we could t believe how peaceful the area is and how stunning the property is with a fantastic view. The gite it self is beautiful with everything you could need. The beds are extremely comfy. There is also lots of info on local events available. We took an extra couple of fans as it was particularly hot week. This made the heated pool even more inviting. The pool is not directly outside of the property and you have to walk down through garden but once you are there it is stunning. You share the pool with Brigitte and her family but this is not an issue at all they are very respectful of your privacy. As a host Brigitte was on hand if you needed her but she also left you to it which was great. The area where the gite is very rural which suited us but there is nothing local to walk to, there is however lots of country walks straight from the property. Highly recommend this air BnB and will return

Beautiful rustic French cottage, exactly as described. Felt right at home. Had excellent facilities, beautiful new bathrooms, all amenities you would expect. Thierry was a very responsive, welcoming and helpful host. The cottage is an a beautiful part of the French countryside. Come with provisions as a fair drive to supermarkets

Large secure house very well arranged and very nicely furnished. The garden is beautiful. Shops nearby. Lots of hiking . Quiet and nature are waiting for you . and Marie, our host was proactive, understanding and very caring We would highly recommend it.

we spent 3 nights and two days in the accommodation planned for 4. there were 3 of us. The accommodation is more than enough for 4! The unit is very well equipped and the equipment is new. we were greeted by Thomas's partner who is very kind and sociable! She gave us some tips about the area. The accommodation is very well heated and the hot water arrives very quickly. no negative points in this listing.

We had a very pleasant stay in this large house. The place is ideal for relaxing, with a nice view of the pond and a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The house is spacious and well equipped, perfect for a group. We highly recommend this place for those looking for a quiet and friendly place to relax.

Rustic and comfortable cottage, very nice environment a few steps from Chenonceau Castle. Great welcome, Nicolas is very friendly and flexible on check-in and check-out times. The place is compliant with photos, everything is there for a great stay. Thank you for the logs, a small fireplace is very nice with the cold of this February weekend.

Stay was just as advertised! Architecture is just lovely. It was nice to have access to a washer/dryer after traveling for a few days. Of note, the spiral stairs are intense - approximately 80+ steps to the unit with no lift. If you have large or heavy luggage, I would not recommend. If you are pregnant, disabled, or have limited mobility, you’ll quickly be winded. Not uncommon for European stays, but just something to keep in mind.

Everything was wonderful. Maria was great, always so responsive and very accommodating. The flat was perfect and near some of the city’s best shops, bars and restaurants. I would stay again!

Nice and cozy place, will book again

The location of the house is very good, the decoration is very new and artistic, the quality of various supplies is also very good.The host was also very quick to respond.The overall feeling is that the storage space is a little small and can only be placed outside, but such a place like Paris is not bad.In addition, if there is no cooking hood and too much seasoning, it is more suitable for guests who are basically not cooking.

Ludovic’s place was great - very artistic, stylish, with lots of books. The area is a great find: lots or restaurants, bars, bakeries. All you need for a perfect weekend in Paris is a walking distance away. We enjoyed our stay!

Elodie was an amazing host! We loved our stay. Waking up to the beautiful views and ending our evening watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle was breathtaking. Elodie's apartment made my trip of lifetime unforgettable and I will cherish the memories forever. A must stay. I hope to visit again and would love to be welcomed back to Elodie's "paradise in Paris" ♥️

The place was super clean and as described. Location was in a quiet suburban part of Paris, away from the touristy area which suited us well. Lots of cafes etc within walking distance and a 10 minute walk to the metro. Best suited to a family as the sofa bed wasn't super comfortable with two adults but fine too.

Very nice accommodation, nice and well arranged. We took full advantage of our stay. We were not able to enjoy the pool because it was not the period but we suspect that in the middle of the period it is a real asset. And the small river that passes at the bottom of the property brings more charm to this environment.

Great stay as a family. We had a good fire waiting for us at check-in. Sleeping arrangements were lovely. Thank you Francoise for hosting us.

We had a pleasant stay at this beautiful villa. The terrace, outdoor pool and hot tub are real plus.

We had a great time with the family at Carole's place. Her house allowed us to spend 2 days warm with everything we needed to fully enjoy together. Everything matches the description, we even took advantage of the garden and the possible hikes not far from the accommodation. We highly recommend it.
