Chalet Bärenegg is wonderfully embedded in the landscape of the Bernese lakes and mountains. Inside it is small with little storage space, but it has pretty niches to linger outside: two seats with a grill, outdoor sauna and for the little ones a lawn, sandbox and slide. Enjoy relaxing days in the middle of the Swiss mountains. The small but fine house is located exactly between Engelberg and Lucerne. The former stable was converted into a charming home a good 30 years ago and renovated and newly furnished a few months ago with a lot of love for detail. The beautiful wood paneling gives the house a homely charm. A small paradise where you can relax and unwind. Far away from the hustle and bustle and yet very central.

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer.
