Our B&B “Al Pozzo” is part of an old farmhouse restored and refurbished. It is situated right on the path leading to the “Basilica di S. Pietro Al Monte” (http:/www.amicidisanpietro.it), a monument considered to be a jewel of Romanesque art (X-XI century). And further on along the path are our wonderful montains with its Monte Cornizzolo, a peak famous for paragliding (www.cornizzolo.com). Is is a very short distance from the cliffs, where climbing enthusiasts will enjoy various levels of difficulties in this adventurous sport. There are easy links to che cities of Milan, Como, Bergamo, to the picturesque towns of Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio and to Switzerland. And just 4 Km from “Al Pozzo” you can visit the beautiful historical city of Lecco, on Lake Como, with its amazing views famously described in the novel “The Betrothed” by A. Manzoni. A bit about us: we are a family made up of a young couple, Barbara and Beppe, and two children, Ale and Franci, lovers of mountains and nature. We grow our own organic vegetables, we have two dogs and even a stable with twenty odd goats which help us produce a high-quality homemade cheese! You will be able to taste it at breakfast or it you choose to dine comfortably at our typical restaurant part of the farmhouse structure- We are looking forward to your visit!

BnB has two twin rooms, a small living room, two showers and two toilets on the 2nd floor. The entire floor is private, so you won’t share it with anyone. There is no kitchen but a mini refrigerator, a microwave and a water pot are ready to use. Free continental breakfast will be served every morning. Located on the top floor of the villa, this Penthouse Premier Suite Apartment with air conditioning welcomes you in a living/dining room with a characteristic white wooden beamed ceiling and a fully equipped kitchen. It boasts 3 arcade windows and 4 further windows overlooking the lake. The elegant bedroom with a double bed has an en-suite bathroom with a multifunction shower cabin complete with steam bath, chromotherapy and radio. The suite faces a panoramic balcony of 12 sqm. with arcades.

Enjoy the great view to the mountains in a quiet area. Our B&B is a starting point for several leisure activities. Enjoy and relax all seasons in the whirlpool e.g. after hiking. You have a private sleeping room and just beside your bathroom. Enjoy direct access to the wintergarden to do some work or eat something. Discover by car within one hour the greater area to see several point of interest Luzern, Rheinfall, Flumserberge, Lake Zurich, Rapperswil. I hope that sounds good for you!

The spacious (24 m²) south/east room in our B&B La Scala includes a private bathroom on the floor. A fantastic roof terrace with a view invites you to enjoy aperitifs at sunset. For breakfast, we will spoil you with all kinds of homemade and regional (mainly organic) delicacies. In our small library you will find numerous tips on the surroundings, books and games. You can also make tea, read a book or watch the village scenes on the adjoining balcony.

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer.
