Staying here is very ok, the owner is very nice and caring, just cutlery. Kya bowls /spoons.. For cleanliness ok ♥️👍 Trus tmpt open-air towel clothesline. So the test is not to dry . Cba was given 1 clothesline outside the room to dry towels . Very nice👍. Will come back if there is an event in semarang ♥️

We arrived too early after an overnight trip. And Mrs. Dian was very welcoming, allowing us to check in early so we could rest. We are very grateful, because if it wasn't for Mrs. Dian, we planned to buy a cinema ticket to take a break until check in time:) Mas Karno who served at GK Gallery was very helpful, from the check in process, to take us to the 3rd floor. Beds, bed linens, are all available until coffee and tea are also provided. Mas Karno makes sure we never lack gallon water, and every morning always clean thecupsof coffee. And very, very unexpectedly, Mas Karno went to the extra mile and cleaned our dirty car from the Jakarta-Purwokerto trip. The spacious living room and the availability of large tables really helped us to have meetings, eat together and chat. There is also a balcony that really helps our writer friends to find inspiration, and for us to refreshing. We feel very welcome at GK Gallery and would definitely choose Gk Gallery on our next trip to Purwokerto! Again, thank you very much Mrs. Dian and Mas Karno!

this place is beyond my expectation. i love the design, each details and excellence hospitality from the host. simply put, if you ever come to Yogyakarta don't hesitate to stays in this place. because i will, for sure!

Everything was absolutely fine to stay in Semarang for a couple of days and explore!

everything is good. there's an iron we use for a batik clothes iron for condo. the bathroom 2, is clean all. the mirror near the washing machine is a little elevated but. wifi is smooth. (:

It was a great place to stay with a big group as hotels have become pricey in the town area. Amenities provided in the house matched the descriptions. Host was also responsive and clear instructions were given. There was also daily cleaning provided to help clear the trash and clean the house, which is rare in airbnb. Though our aircon wasn’t working quite well, host responded and took immediate actions, and also provided portable cooler to keep the temperature cold.

Ella was such a warm and thoughtful host. From the start, she was communicative and helpful, which made things so much easier as I was coordinating the trip for my parents and their friends. They had a peaceful, relaxing holiday — though “peaceful” might not describe the morning routine! With only one bathroom and most sockets in the living room, it turned into a friendly competition: who could charge their phone first, or snag the bathroom before heading out. Basically, Survivor: Airbnb Edition. LOL! It became part of the fun and something they’re still laughing about. On their last day, one of them wasn’t feeling well, and Ella kindly offered extra time to check out. That kind of understanding really stood out. All in all, a lovely host and a stay full of great memories. Thanks, Ella!

We absolutely loved our brief stay at Kirana's place. We booked two rooms and they were both very spacious and sparkling clean. The interiors (and exteriors!) are beautiful - clearly Kirana has an excellent eye for detail! The team handled everything brilliantly - they were smiley and discreet. The surroundings gardens and village are tranquil and serene - I recommend taking a cycle ride through the nearby streets. We cannot thank you enough for such a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Had a heartwarming experience staying at The Kampung Halaman. The warm hospitality from mas Hoho, Ibu, mas Andi, and family made us feel like we were visiting an extended hometown—familiar, comforting, and full of heart. The room was cozy and serene, and we loved spending time in the pendopo common space, where we could connect with other family members and soak in the grounding energy of the space. One of the highlights of our visit was exploring the village of Mendiro—getting a glimpse of local life, meeting kind-hearted villagers, and strolling through breathtaking natural landscapes. We especially cherished Ibu’s delicious traditional cooking and an evening walk through scenic rice fields just as the sun was setting. As night fell, we even experienced a power outage and were lucky enough to spot shooting stars under the clear, quiet sky. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a grounding, welcoming retreat close to nature!
