Farmstay holiday rentals in Central Asia

We stayed here for 6 days whilst watching India thrash England in the cricket. Karan's villa was a peaceful sanctuary for us all to relax in and we were thankful that we were within 20 mins of the stadium and not up in Mcleod Ganj with the other fans. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The staff were all brilliant and we had a wonderful home cooked curry on our first night. We would have eaten there more but for the fact that the food at the nearby 360 hotel was amazing and kept drawing us back night after night. The location was perfect and not too busy with car horns etc. We all enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely return.

Manali Homes is a beautiful villa surrounded by the most serene views of the mountains all around you! A very well maintained , spotless clean and comfortable house amidst apple orchards. Preety ji and Rakesh ji are the most gracious hosts! They own the place & are extremely welcoming in nature. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains and the apple orchards. It was truly very relaxing. Preety ji cooks up great meals and her team made sure all our requests and needs were well taken care of. They recommended us walking down to the river bank nearby and it was one of our fondest memories! What a beautiful trail with quaint mountain homes around , passing by the warm Himachali people who are always smiling and happy to help. Manali Homes was everything we could ask for! Our group of 14 comprised 3 elders and they had a comfortable stay too! Highly recommend this spectacular home away from home with spectacular views and all comforts to boast!

The place is really beautiful- so beautiful that the pictures don't do justice to the reality. Vinay ji is a great host, always helpful and available with suggestions. A walk through the hill forest - with it's apple, cherry and wild species was a treat for all of us. The anecdotes and stories of the history of the land, local knowledge about various plant species and it's uses - really liked that part. Food was also great and like home cooked food. Our family of 9 simply loved every bit of it. My 2 year old daughter is still clamouring to go back to Kotgarh and I am promising her that we will try to be back next year 😀

We had an amazing stay at this homestay in Fagu, Shimla. Everything about it was perfect! The food, tea, and coffee were outstanding, with a homely touch that made every meal feel special. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and treated us like family, making the experience even more memorable. The warm hospitality, cozy ambiance, and serene surroundings made it feel like a true home away from home. The location is truly special – you'll wake up to the sounds of birds and have direct access to walking trails right from your doorstep. The well-maintained garden adds to the natural charm and provides plenty of space for morning strolls or evening relaxation. One of the highlights is the attentive assistant who provides daily cleaning and prepares delicious meals, making the stay feel both homey and luxurious. The convenience of nearby shops for basic groceries means you can easily stock up on essentials while still feeling away from it all. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are several hiking options in the vicinity, including a lovely trail that leads down to a small river. The property serves as an excellent base for exploring the local natural attractions.

It feels like home. The location is in between Kullu and Manali....so travel from here is pretty easy.... Accommodation is very spacious and have big garden just in front of it.....also parking is very spacious. We all enjoyed it and Rishabh and family is very helpful and welcoming, would definitely recommend it to all

It was such a great stay for our entire family. We spent two nights at this beautiful property and it felt like home. The staff was also very friendly and helpful which made our stay more comfortable. They cook some delicious meals for us and made us try local delicacies also. The hosts have also been very helpful throughout our stay. Madhumita Mam and her husband were in constant touch with us and they even guided us on various aspects. Overall we had one of the best experience with this stay!

I had a wonderful stay with the family. Каныбек picked me up from Kara Balta for 1000 som and then I paid for 1000 som per day for food. Elnur always cooked for me if I was hungry and was very kind and welcoming. Her son speaks English and it was fun communicating in half English, Russian and trying to learn kyrgyz words. It was lovely and funny to spend time with Opa too. I love that they have the perfect balance between taking care of you and letting you be. The surroundings are beautiful and you can walk into the mountains from their home. I recommend for a simple, rural stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Apple Farm Guesthouse in Bali Haran, Kashmir. The setting was absolutely serene—surrounded by lush apple trees and the breathtaking beauty of the valley. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the incredible hospitality, especially from Raja, the caretaker. Raja went above and beyond to make us feel completely at home. From cooking delicious, fresh meals to making sure we had everything we needed, his warmth and attentiveness truly stood out. He treated us like family, and his presence added so much heart to our stay. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with genuine hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommended, and we hope to return someday!

Loved to stay, the view from the whole patio was amazing. It was a beautiful and peaceful place amidst nature. The host was really nice and helpful. It was a great experience staying here. To be honest, we spent most of my time on the balconies.

Our stay was wonderful. We went with our office colleagues and had a fantastic 4-day experience at their home. The house is situated on a beautiful farmland, surrounded by orchards and many flowering plants. The hosts and their family were incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. They have all the necessary amenities, and the accommodation was spotless and well-maintained. A special thanks to Seema Ma'am for taking such great care of us, treating us like family. We hope to return soon and create even more wonderful memories.

It's a gorgeous property. Words won't do justice to what the eyes will witness there. Feels like you're in Scotland Countryside. The whole area of the property is just gorgeous and very well maintained. The beautiful trees, flowers, fence all around the property is absolutely delightful especially when the mountains feel like they are just a walk away from you. The helpers were very humble and polite. Nishar was a great host. Not to forget his two lovely dogs who were very friendly. My dog had a great time mingling with their dogs, chickens, cow and ducks. He loved this trip. The slate aesthetics are stunning. The food served by Gopal bhaiya was delicious. Tahir and cleaning didi were very nice as well. One of the best places to stay around palampur. We stayed at Mr. Gunjan's place for a weekend in June '24. The property is really nice, especially the front lawn with flowers. It is well maintained and spacious. There is not much to do around the property but the city and the ghats are easily approachable. The location is close to the highway. Mr. Gunjan is a great host, warm and friendly. The property has a mechanized gate and Gunjan was willing to stay awake till late to open it for us. He shared local recommendations and was proactive to check with us regarding meals or directions. The common areas like dining area or the living room were being shared with other guests while the property description mentions that this only happens if you book a room or two, whereas we had booked all 3 rooms on the ground floor. We also found the housekeeping to be a miss, dirty towels and bedsheets were not replaced even after asking the staff to do it. The food was good and simple. Overall we had fun and recommend staying here in Rishikesh.

More than the place,it was the hospitality that stood out for me. Mahesh ji and family were very good hosts. The property is located in a nice,peaceful area with lot of surrounding greenery. I had a very good stay here.

A truly serene getaway! The property is exactly as described—remote, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful apple orchards. Be prepared for an adventure, as a 4x4 vehicle or a local taxi is needed for the last 10Km to reach near the property, followed by a short walk. A special mention to the caretaker, Mr. Gulab Singh, and his family, who made us feel right at home with their warmth and hospitality. Their home-cooked meals were excellent, and we truly felt cared for. The host, Mr. Aminder, was extremely responsive and proactive, sharing all necessary details well in advance, including nearby emergency contacts. His clear communication made our stay smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommended for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature!

We really loved the place and people there. It was peaceful and on the path of becomt self sufficient . Food is yum and healthy. It’s a really great place if you know what you are looking for. locating the place can be a bit tricky but getting in touch with the host beforehand can ease the process.

My stay at ghazal and abhisheks property was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
