Cute “tiny cabin” in Traverse City MI. There is NO RUNNING WATER OR ELECTRICITY. Please come prepared as if you are going camping. There is a “portajohn” as a bathroom, and NO WATER SOURCE. This is a truly unique experience to disconnect from your phones and TV and all of the other noise of life. The cabin is truly serene and peaceful, amongst a quiet and authentic “up-north” neighborhood. Downtown Traverse is 15 minutes to the east and Sleeping Bear is about 35 minutes directly west.
“Amazing, no frills place outside of Traverse city. Exactly as described. Short drive to whatever you'd want to do, far enough away for peace and seclusion. Would definitely recommend for individuals or couples looking for an affordable getaway.”
Space for two in tidy owner-occupied home 2.5 miles east of downtown Traverse City and a few hundred yards south of the beach on East Grand Traverse Bay. Few frills but rates are the best in town (and my cats get great reviews). !!Read more about the space regarding COVID19 restrictions and travel expectations.!!
“My friend and I stayed at Dave's place for one night and loved it. I only saw Dave once, but at least we got to say hi and exchange a few words during breakfast. He seems to be a nice guy. His place is very welcoming, so are his cats. Also, location is great; house is only a block and a half from one of Traverse City's beaches. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks for everything, Dave. ”
A private 2 bedroom, 1 bath ranch located adjacent to the Ransom Lake Natural area with miles of trails. 1 mile from "downtown" Lake Ann, 8 miles from Interlochen and 20 minutes from Traverse City. Convenient to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Frankfort. Dog friendly with a fenced back yard which includes a deck, grill, picnic table and fire pit.
“We had a group of 4 staying at Matt's place. The space was perfect for us. Very timely communication throughout. We stayed out by lake Ann for more space and better prices than downtown Traverse City, and while it's not super close, it was easy to get to lots of wineries and the general Traverse City area. Would stay here again.”
