Holiday houses in Cedar County

We had an amazing stay!! The house had plenty of space for 6 adults and three kids. My kids loved the beach, pool table and air hockey table. The water view was amazing. The master suite area was huge! We booked this very last minute and Gail was so responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!!

This is the first time that we've stayed at Wendy's place, and hopefully it won't be the last time. The place was very much a home, and my family loved the location and the amenities. Wendy is a wonderful host, and very good and responding to inquires. She takes care of her guests. The house has a wonderful history, as well. It was just a wonderful stay.

This place is a gem. It is has four separate rooms in the shop. It is a fantastic place to unwind and hang out. The bedroom has a queen and king bedroom with the option of two other very comfortable pull out bed in separate spaces. The kitchen and bathroom are right as you walk in and on the first floor. Such a perfect get away and lovely space. Steve was so helpful and the space was adorable with all the antiques and farm gems!

This is an amazing place, the owners are truly sharing their beautiful home with you. It’s not a shared space, but you can tell they take pride in their property and you will feel special just walking in, it’s decorated so beautifully! I wouldn’t want to share it with just anyone! It is spotless everything was immaculate. It has everything you could need in the kitchen, I brought some things from home but really didn’t need to. I’ve never seen a more stocked bathroom with towels and washcloths, so nice! Location was fantastic, it’s a short walk to downtown shopping and restaurants, baseball field, playground, and the Meridian bridge is a great family walk! They have a wealth of information in a book in the kitchen with recommendations and info on how to operate appliances. Traveling with a 1 yr old they accommodated an early arrival and we communicated about a couple other things during our stay. Easter and senior day for MMU baseball, our family made memories. Thank you!

All around great stay at a beautifully restored historic hotel. We will be back!

This is our second stay at the Farmhouse Inn. Both times we have invited 4 other couples for a weekend of fun and relaxation. We brought our own food drinks and cooked great meals and had a great time together. We watch UNL Volleyball and walked around the property. We went to Hartington and had good beer at the brew pub. They also had live music. It was a great trip. The house is great for 4 couples. The kitchen is the best of any airbnb that I have ever stayed at. Lots of plate, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils etc.... It is large and easy to cook in. The beds are comfortable. The internet works well. The property is private and comfortable. Will definitely stay again if the opportunity presents it self.
