House holiday rentals in Caye Caulker

Passengers on our flight directed us to the wrong house (Michael has many), but Michael quickly helped get us to the right spot. Terrific location with easy access to everything at a great price.

We can’t say enough good things about our week at the pool cottage at sue-casa. From easy booking, great communication from Susan, arranging our taxi from the airport to the water ferry, and hooking us up with the best taxi driver on Caye Caulker (Kevin) we felt cared for and like family. We are already planning our next trip!

gorgeous house & the pool is a plus. genuinely have no complaints. It was the best choice for my family and I. We were greeted at the ferry and taken to the house & got a ride back to the ferry at check out. Loved my stay here

We stayed in the Seahorse Cabana for four nights and it was an amazing stay. The house was spotlessly clean (including the toilet), the bed was a delight to sleep in and the amenities were great. Also, to swim in the pool is a must: it’s private, was clean every day with nice seats and donuts to play with. You can see that the pool is quite new and fresh. You can rent bicycles from the office nearby and the service included was great. With the bicycles everything was much closer as the island is not very big but it’s a 15 minute walk to the main drag. The communication was smooth and easy via the airbnb chat.

This was my third stay at the Tortuga Azul. I’ve come down with friends to dive and relax. The location is very close to the Caulker airport, just a short walk. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart though. Most of the action in town is a short ride away, and for super early morning dive departures, it’s nice to be able to ride. There is a restaurant basically next door, Suggestion Gourmet. Its not the typical island fare, more of a French place, but it’s the most serene setting. I can’t speak to all of the beds, but the one I’ve slept in every year has been comfortable. The rooms all have individual AC, so you can sleep at your own preferred temp. The property manager, Michael, is quick to respond via What’s App. I will continue to stay at Tortuga for my repeat trips to the island.

We loved staying at the Hidden Gem. Great location, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of space yet felt cozy. This was our second visit to Caye Caulker and from now on this is where we will stay. The host was very communicative and the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance to everything yet felt peaceful and quiet. Loved having the pool as well!

It was lovely and helpful that the host arranged for direct water taxi with our luggage to the house. The quiet refuge on the north island was a great contrast to the hustle of the south part of the Caye. While there getting around on foot and by water taxi worked well, unless you want to see the estuary on the very north side of the Caye, in which case a bike is a good idea. There were several walkable restaurant options and a small convenience store near the split. We didn’t use the kayak and paddle boards, but the pool was great for heat relief and AC in the bedrooms was nice too. Walter, the caretaker, was super helpful and brought us fresh coconuts / coconut water. Really enjoyed Mario’s snorkel tour.

Amazing place .. I would highly recommend this accommodation. I was a bit nervous with the limited reviews but don’t worry and book this place. Israel and Mary the hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful with all our needs. You can walk anywhere from the residence . Have no worries when booking this Airbnb.

Great place to stay - walkable to everywhere on the island. Host was very communicative.

I enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely recommend staying here. I would stay again when I'm back in Caye Caulker.

The place was great, private locked yard with a pit for cooking. Before the Bahia so easy to get to every place on foot. Space was clean and everything worked. AC is extra, but the place didn’t get overly hot.

During our stay the owner stopped by the property and we had the pleasure to meet him and his brother-in-law. The property had a lot of local fruit trees that they educated us on and let us try. The house is right across from a local store and convenient for food, snacks, and drinks. The place was peaceful and we enjoyed the hammocks on the porch. Everything was exactly as described.

We loved our stay at Bonita‘s. We had everything we needed and a little bit more. It was a wonderful get away. Quiet and the pool was very welcoming.

We really enjoyed our time at Hilda’s place. It was spacious, in a great location and the wind meant you always had a breeze. A big plus having access to bikes so you can get around. Only slight downside was the neighbours behind, as there were no actual windows we could hear them very early in the morning and sometimes late at night.

Such a cute place, the host even helped me figure out how to get to the island. Loved staying here, we want to come back this fall!

Great spot for four adults. This is a little bit of a walk (10 mins) outside of the main town area, but it made for a very quiet and relaxing time when we were there. The beds were very comfortable, AC worked great, and the deck/pool was a wonderful spot to relax. We loved our time at on Caye Caulker and would stay at this spot again.

We stayed here for week and it was perfect. First of all, Lucrecia arranged transportation from the airport. A taxi ( golf cart) was waiting for us. You could walk, but our luggage has wheels and that won’t work on dirt roads. The bicycles were great, but everything is close enough that you could walk. This place is the perfect location. The main part of the town is easily accessible, but it’s tucked away on a quiet road. There is a mangrove in front of the property with hundreds of grackles. If you like birds, you’ll love it here. We kept the windows and doors open, and at first light we were woken by the birds. We loved it, but you could use the a/c and you wouldn’t hear a thing. We saw a variety of birds including humming birds and ospreys. We also got to see crocodiles right in front of the property in the water. You cannot swim right in front of the property, but there are plenty of swimming places easily accessible on the island. The sunset views are amazing too.

This is a very well priced lodging for what you get. I appreciate the coffee supplies provided by the host. We also chose this one for the ability to do our laundry and having Air conditioning.

Extremely close to the airport which is convenient. Quiet in the evenings, and had enough space. Recommend renting bikes to get back and forth from the rest of the island, it's about 10 minutes of riding to get to the main tourist areas. Would stay again

Lucrecia was so welcoming and kind! Made sure we had what we needed and gave so many recommendations. She was so helpful with transportation from the airport to the ferry and from the ferry to the birdhouses! Would definitely book again if we came back to Belize , couldn’t recommend this place anymore.

This little house is among the top places I have ever rented. It’s the perfect size for 2 people, especially since we both had remote work we needed to do. The view from the bedroom and balcony was a balm to the soul. Having my morning tea or coffee in the morning on the balcony while watching the neighbors bike to work or take a jog with the birds foraging for breakfast is something I wish I could do every day. It’s so peaceful at this end of the island, yet very easy to walk into town. There is a little restaurant just steps away, behind the airport, too, where we got a very good meal. If I come back to Caye Caulker I would stay here without another thought.

Amanda was a great host. She made communication and check-in easy. The home was in a perfect location. I was walkable to restaurants while being just far enough away from the bars to provide a tranquil atmosphere. The property had a lot of plants which provided cool shade, and the lofted home had a cool breezy atmosphere. I would 100% recommend this house!

Prefect location ! Private but walkable distance to everywhere we needed to go ! Bikes were a plus . It was so cozy and we enjoyed the pool to cool off from the sun when we took a break from the beach . She was so amazing . Would recommend to anyone I know
