The Artist Cottage was a great secluded retreat. We loved how charming and cute the place looked. The colorful decor and charming antiques in the cottage made it feel special. The amenities were well taken-care of and we especially loved the hot tub, the outdoor fireplace, the spacious lodge, and the large, modern soaking tub. We enjoyed hanging out in backyard, where we could listen to numerous birds while sitting by a little waterfall in the morning. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. It was just a short walk from some nice hiking trails and we loved that it was only a short drive to town. Overall, we highly recommend this stay!

Highly recommended — especially for families with young children! The property has everything you could need, and there’s even a charming farm nearby (just be sure to check their hours in advance). The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was spotless and had such a welcoming, positive energy. With so much land to explore, you truly don’t need to leave the property if you bring your own food and supplies. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely book again in the future!

Perfect, modern yet cozy cabin. The aesthetic was beautiful and was fully stocked with everything you could need. The neighbors are close but we never saw them. Maybe because we came up before the season picks up. We utilized all of Bilen's local recommendations. We loved the Local Table & Tap. Beautiful views. We also took a drive to Upward Brewing which was phenomenal. Keeping this Airbnb in my go-tos. Couldn't be happier :) Perfect for nature lovers.

This cottage was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a couple’s getaway! We loved how private the cottage was and the privacy fence around the backyard. The fire pit was a great way to wind down and enjoy s’mores (provided by the hosts) at the end of the night. The hot tub was also a perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of hiking. We loved that the instructions were provided so we explicitly knew what to do and not to do. The bed and bed covers were very comfortable and incredibly clean! We enjoyed all the little details put into decorating the cottage without being cluttered. While we didn’t need to use more than a few utensils when staying there, the kitchen was fully stocked and even had a little Keurig coffee bar to use if desired. This cottage was well worth the price and a phenomenal place to stay while visiting Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s close enough to important and fun places, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Bob & Julie's they were excellent hosts! The house and property are beautiful! This place is one we would return to without hesitation. It was very clean and included everything needed in the kitchen at home cooking. Hot tub was awesome with amazing view on the lake. The wood burning fire pit was one of our favorites about the house. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

I wanted a weekend getaway for my son’s 13th birthday that landed on Friday the 13th, I came across this cabin airbnb and decided to book and give it a try. this location is an hour away from our home and gave us that peace of paradise we were looking for. the cabin felt like home and had everything you can possibly need. I honestly wish I can give higher than a 5 star because this cabin was perfect. I’ll be booking again for a winter weekend getaway. thank you for hosting my family and I.

We always stay at Little Willow when we go skiing at Belle Ayre. I think our three years and running relationship with the house tell you all you need to know about working with the Little and Littler gang and their spot.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Lookout Manor with our kids and dog. The first couple days were pretty chilly and rainy but we had a great time playing ping pong and hanging out on the covered back porch. The backyard was great for frisbee and baseball and for a very happy dog to enjoy the country life. Everything indoors was like new and very clean; there were plenty of towels and blankets and the kitchen was well-equipped. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Hubbell Views, communication with the hosts was very timely and helpful with suggestions of restaurants in the area, we felt right at home. It was the perfect headquarters for our motorcycle trip riding in the Catskill’s.

Great stay at Jasmine’s well furnished, rustic feel cottage. Peaceful location but just a quick ride to Woodstock, Kingston and Rhinebeck. Pool was perfect - we used it everyday. Heat bathroom floors is a nice touch!

We loved staying in this cute little cottage. My fiancé and I were in the area for a wedding and this was the perfect respite for the weekend away from the city. From the sounds of the river water outside to the hammock on the porch, along with the modern design, everything was so well maintained and purposely placed in the house, making it the perfect weekend getaway. Also it extremely clean which was really nice! We were also driving-in for the wedding and the hosts let us check-in a little early so we could get ready which made our drive-up easy and worry free.

We've stayed at Jenna's home a few times. Each of our visits have beeen wonderful. Her home is pristine, extremely comfortable, and very well thought-out for easy use by guests. The kitchen is very well equipped. Things like thoughtful labels on light switches, quality linens, very comfortable mattresses, nice towels, a complete lack of clutter while still being thoughtfully decorated, always makes us feel very comfortable in this space. The area is very peaceful and quiet. We will gladly continue to return!

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to spend our wedding anniversary and John’s place more than delivered. The grounds were beautiful and the views were breathtaking. The house was clean and cosy with large windows for letting in the sunlight and fresh air. The sounds of the river were incredibly calming. Leave the white noise machine at home and let the river sing you to sleep! Our dog had plenty of room to run around the property and she loved daily visits to the river, as we did too. The nearby town had some nice restaurants that John recommended, the Heron being our favorite! We had everything we needed and plenty of accommodations were provided, but it was clear that if you needed anything, John would make it happen for you. We loved this place and would absolutely stay there in the future.

My husband and I stayed at Kevin’s place for a couple days in early June for a quick city getaway. Kevin was super responsive from the beginning all the way to check out and was a pleasure to communicate with! He is a fascinating well-travelled host with lots of cool souvenirs around the cabin from his travels and sports accomplishments. His place was very relaxing and was exactly what we were looking for with its lake front access and cosy interior. We travel for work and are constantly staying in nice hotels, and we had the most amazing sleeps in the memory foam bed with sheepskin duvet and agreed it was better than any hotel sleep we had recently. So peaceful! We canoed to a Mexican restaurant across the river for lunch which was a fun mini adventure and very delicious! When we checked out we got to meet Bodie, Kevins Golden Retriever that is in the listing photos. Was an awesome experience! We look forward to returning sometime back to Kevin’s Cabin!

Great spot within walking distance of cute shops, restaurants, bars, and a little public beach & playground on the Hudson. Maria's place is well kept, clean, and safe. The outdoor space was not used as we were out and about exploring other towns during our stay, but would be a great place to wind down and catch some peekaboo water views as the sun sets. Big covered porch was awesome and backed up to the woods on one side, and water views on the other.

Great place right on Rt. 28 very close to fishing access along the Esopus. Comfortable, clean, and open inside. Would def use again. Booked an extra night because it was too comfortable, thank you for that.

This home was the perfect getaway. In beautiful solitude, with nature/hikes, and great food/shops close by. The home was spotless, cozy, and even better than the photos. The aesthetic and access to the full house and its amenities was so appreciated. John was always available for recommendations and quick questions. I would love to come back!

The best part was the tub with the beautiful forest views and deer roaming about. We used it quite a lot. It rained the previous days and the creek was in full force with a small waterfall. It felt like we were a million miles away from civilization but only less than 5 minutes from the Main Street of Woodstock. Strong Wi-Fi too so was I was able to work remotely.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The stream access was excellent. The house is only minutes to Phonecia making it very convenient for anything one might need. We felt that the description of the house matched the experience better than almost any other rental we have used from airbnb.

We found the cottage to be the perfect gateaway for our family of three. As soon as we entered, you could feel the mood shift to something quite magical. The cottage was cozy and warm blending seamlessly into its surroundings. If you are looking to unplug and reconnect with family and friends, you have found it here. Spending the evenings by the fireplace with the family was wonderful as was waking up and heading out to the sunroom to enjoy a cup of coffee. The home was so beautiful we were all hoping it would rain one day so we had an excuse to stay inside underneath the sunroom glass ceiling. We left feeling completly refreshed and grateful for the opportunity to experience such magic. This is truly a gem and we are already planning a return visit. Thank you for a memorable stay!
