Villa holiday rentals in Catona

From booking up to departure the communication with Cinzia was excellent. She very kindly gave us a video call of the villas so we could get a good understanding of the layout. It was easy to organise taxis for some of our party. The villas are well equipped and spotlessly clean and the grounds and swimming pool are absolutely beautiful

This is one of our favourite house and stay in Sicily. The house is perfect for family or small group. It located in a good place with amazing views outside all around. Easy access to beautiful town, and a lot of fancy restaurants and bars. The house is very comfortable, cozy and provided everything we need. We had a wonderful week here, and definitely will come back again when we visit Sicily again.

A vintage gem just a stones throw from the ancient Porta Messina city gate, Vita’s property was a charming and spacious “home away from home” for my stay! From the original brass window fittings to the beautiful antique furnishings this 3 story town house delights- I thoroughly enjoyed the back garden filled with citrus trees to the 3rd floor terrace with sea views and sunshine. Sun a delightful place and a true enhancement to my vacation!

My family spent a week here while we were in town for a family wedding. The pictures do not do the villa justice- it really is so spectacular in person and so vast in space. Between the back gardens, the front terrace, and its numerous rooms, there was no shortage of space. We also enjoyed a fabulous dinner organized by Umberto’s mother on our first evening. As other folks have mentioned, the train does run behind the villa, but this is true for most accommodations in the area. Some family members stayed at a hotel up the street and had the same issue. The location itself cannot be beat as you are literally a block away from the beach, restaurants, and cafes. The one thing I would be aware of is that there is a pub directly below the villa that gets extremely loud on the weekends. There were hordes of people spilling out onto the streets and blocking the entrance to the villa when we would come home at night into early. Not much within the control of the hosts but worth noting.

Die wunderschöne Villa Anna liegt direkt am Meer. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft schön. Obwohl es viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe gibt, ist es absolut ruhig. Das Haus an sich ist liebevoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet. Klimaanlagen in Schlaf- sowie auch im Wohnzimmer machten den Aufenthalt richtig angenehm. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Alles ist neu, es fehlt an nichts. Fabio ist immer erreichbar gewesen, hat sich auch selbst erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben, was wir in der Umgebung unternehmen konnten. Wir hatten schon viele Unterkünfte, aber das war das Beste, was wir je hatten. Kann ich zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern passt es perfekt. Das Kinderzimmer hat unsere 6-jährige Tochter geliebt und das Meer in der Nähe. Taormina mit dem Bus war toll. Die Aussicht wenn der Bus am Meer entlang fährt ist einfach großartig. Wir danken Fabio sehr für diese phantastische Erfahrung!

Silvia and Gaetano (who might assist you in getting to the place and handing over the keys) are very friendly and reliable people who were welcoming and made a lot of effort in order to ensure that everything goes smoothly. The view from the big, beautiful terrace is stunning and the rest of the house, the small garden and the surrounding area are amazing. Fantatstic, quiet place to be. Thank you, Silvia and Gaetano, we hope to come back one day!

Milazzo non é solo la porta delle Eolie, é una cittá vivace, accogliente, con una natura ed un mare splendidi! La Casa del Viaggiatore é il luogo ideale per vivere una vacanza indimenticabile. L'alloggio, moderno, confortevole, pulitissimo e arredato con gusto é aperto su un giardino luminoso e profumato, che offre angoli di relax e una splendida doccia sotto le foglie di un banano.... La posizione permette di godere il fresco e la tranquillitá, a pochi chilometri dal centro, ma soprattutto di trovarsi sulla lunga bellissima spiaggia di ponente in due minuti a piedi.....sembra quasi un privilegio. Absolutely beautiful villa in a prime location, very walkable to bars and restaurants. The rooms are bigger than they appear in the pictures and the garden and rooftop space are divine. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this villa was perfection. Our host Roberto was so helpful….he arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. He set up the most beautiful and unforgettable Mothers Day at the beach for us. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate him! He met us at check in and explained everything from the home to getting around Taormina. The villa was outstanding. We felt like we were getting a true Sicilian experience staying in this beautiful family home. My whole week there felt like a dream. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Taormina.

We had a wonderful time at this property! Daniella was incredibly helpful always responsive and had great recommendations. The house photos do not do it justice! The outside space is amazing and the inside was clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of wonderful food options walking, beach, shops, etc. Would definitely love to come back!

We were in Taormina for a wedding & picked this place to stay because it accommodated the 5 of us easily (each with a private bathroom), it had spectacular views & 2 pools. It couldn’t have been a better choice for our stay, conveniently located to the center, scenic, peaceful & spacious. By the next day we all felt at home. We took endless photos of the views as they were breathtaking overlooking the city & filled with greenery. The rooms were spacious and comfortable (each with air conditioning!) The host was helpful, friendly, and very responsive. A couple of notes for future guests: reaching the villa involves a fairly steep uphill walk, followed by steps leading into the house (not unusual for Taormina), but worth being aware of if mobility is a concern. While the villa overall was very comfortable, we’d recommend updating the living room furniture, as some pieces felt worn out & uncomfortable. Otherwise, this villa really elevated our whole trip experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful villa, spacious outdoor area, saltwater pool was fantastic. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Very clean and well presented throughout. Communication with host was faultless, all questions and calls were answered promptly. Villa was very private, we hired a car but Uber was very reliable and good value. Local restaurant Blue Ice was very good. Highlight was visiting nearby Taormina both on an evening and during the day. I would most certainly recommend Villa Flara and the beautiful island of Sicily. 🍋💕

Ambra and Orazio are extremely welcoming and helpful hosts. The price of the stay is justified by the amazing sea view, the private access to it (a stones and pebbles but comfortable beach, with pristine water) and the vast, beautiful and well equiped ground. The house is relatively large and niceless decorated. It is good to be aware of a few details: barely functioning internet, some noise from the road (it can be an annoyance at night from the bedrooms) and old windows. Overall, it is nevertheless worth recommending.

Un endroit magique avec une vue à couper le souffle - encore plus beau que sur les photos. Incroyable de pouvoir voir Castelmola d’un côté, la mer devant et Etna de l’autre côté. La route est étroite et en montée, mais ça en vaut définitivement la peine La maison était très belle, spacieuse et très propre. Idéale pour une grand groupe. Et que dire de l’hôte, Gorgio était tellement gentil et nous a laissé des cadeaux à notre arrivée : vin, huile, citrons de ses arbres et biscuits

The house located in a truly peaceful and relaxing place, with lemon trees and olive trees around; the house is very beautiful and lovely, with lovely flowers around the garden, and smell really good. Vanessa and her family are very kind and nice, provided us everything we need. It's easy to drive to so many nice restaurants nearby, and very close to several towns and cities. We had a wonderful week here!

What a fantastic stay! The views were spectacular and the outside space had lots of different areas and view points. An incredible place for star gazing! We enjoyed the feel of the villa - it was comfortable and had everything we needed - even a little welcome hamper. Antonio was a brilliant host… immediately responsive and a really pleasant chap. Nothing was too much trouble. He also arranged for our taxi ride back to the airport which was early morning! Thanks for having us :-)

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Alecla—an inviting, well-maintained property right on the Ionian Sea, perfect for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, Cinzia made everything effortless: check‑in was smooth, communication was prompt, and her local insights added a special touch to our experience . The spacious layout and thoughtfully furnished interiors made it feel like a home away from home. We had an amazing stay at Ville Voces! The villa is stunning, even more beautiful than in the photos, and fully equipped with everything you might need. Victor and Marinella were also incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. There’s plenty to do in the area, and everything is easily accessible by car. While there was some traffic outside the villa, we hardly noticed it after the first day. All in all, we had a fantastic week and truly hope to come back soon!

Our daugters told that the pool was amazing and it is worth to come back next time!

Marco var ualmindelig imødekommende og hjælpsom, selv med at reservere bord i nærheden og kontakte naboer for at stoppe med afbrænding af bål. Jeg har brugt Airbnb i mange år, og Marco har været den bedste vært til dato. Udsigten fra huset er fænomenal - meget smukkere end på billederne. Du vil blive blown away! Det er et autentisk område uden mange andre turister. Der er en køretur til indkøb osv, men det generede os ikke. Her i midten af oktober var både den opvarmede pool og vejret så fint, og børnene badede dagen lang. Vi var to familier med børn afsted, og der var fin plads med 4 soveværelser og 3 badeværelser. Jeg kan varmt anbefale VILLAGE MALÚ.

We feel very lucky to have stayed here - your garden is beautiful - the children loved picking oranges and lemons and making delicious juice. We enjoyed evenings on the terrance and taking in the spectacular view - we even saw etna erupting which was very special. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You have been a wonderful host, thank you for all the help, recommendations and reservations. We loved the take away pizza and restaurant you recommended.
