Holiday houses in Castillo de Locubín

The cave is an incredible place in an unbeatable location. Bus stop next door, but in less than a half-hour walk you are in the center. Everything is clean and tidy, and the temperature is ideal in summer. Miguel leaves you the super correct instructions to access the accommodation. Everything was great.

It was certainly what we were looking for, a house in which you breathe absolute peace and tranquility, very well equipped and with a few dawns of infarction. Marie has been very kind to being on the lookout if we needed her and very helpful. The pool and outdoor area is the perfect place to disconnect with spectacular views. I recommend it 100% without any sticks, we will be coming back for sure!!! Thank you Marie!!

This place is fantastic. We were 3 couples and we all had plenty of room. It’s beautiful and well appointed. The rooftop terrace has the best view of Alhambra. Our host was very attentive and helpful. She sent plenty of information that was very helpful prior to our check in. If you arrive by car you need to park in a lot 1km from the place. She gave us great instructions. From there you need to taxi or walk in. No big deal, but 2 taxis refused to take us in to the narrow street. So they may drop you 100 meters and you just walk in from there. The neighborhood is very picturesque and there is a grocery very close. Easy (but hilly) walk into town. The flat is 4 levels with lots of stairs. This was not a problem for us, (we enjoyed the privacy the different levels provided) but if you have trouble with stairs this is probably not the best choice. All in all I say “yes!!” this is a great place. Plan ahead if you want to visit Alhambra. You need to buy entry tickets well in advance online.

Our stay at this villa was delightful. Located in a vibrant Andalusian town, it’s ideally situated between Córdoba, Jaén, Granada, and Málaga, making it a perfect base for exploring. Ana and her family were exceptional hosts, ensuring our stay was comfortable. We were welcomed with beers and local snacks, and their detailed guide, including a QR code for local recommendations, was very helpful. Communication was smooth and prompt. The villa was stunning, blending traditional Andalusian charm with modern comfort. With excellent facilities, including high-speed WiFi, new air conditioning, a large pool, and a BBQ area, we were incredibly comfortable. Relaxing on the porch, watching sunsets over the countryside, was a highlight. It was hard to leave, and I highly recommend this special place for an unforgettable Andalusian experience.

This is a beautifully detailed home, feels relaxed and calm, but with so much thought and detail in furnishings and artwork. The beds were comfortable, the showers amazing , outside space delightful. Well equipped kitchen and a welcome basket of provisions which was kind. Moclin is a pretty town, locals friendly and fabulous vistas; great location for Granada.

In summary: Very nice accommodation! Laurent is an excellent host, very helpful and always available, but not intrusive. I think he even cleaned our pool when we weren't there! The accommodation was very clean and well maintained, the only negative thing I noticed, the shower head could be renewed. At the accommodation and at the pool itself, we had some mosquitoes, but the mosquito spray from Relec helped very well, so as long as you are not panicked by them, it is not a problem at all ;). The location was amazing, a beautiful area and with the rental car we were in the city centre of Malaga in 35 minutes and could also reach other destinations such as Nerja or Ronda within an hour. We were unable to assess the connection with public transport. One more note: we couldn't find a hair dryer, so if needed, just bring it or ask Laurent. 5/5 stars!
