We love everything. Maria Francisca and her husband are extremely polite, helpful, friendly and always available. Their place is exactly like in the pictures. A not so modern house, but with all the comforts and comfort. The air-conditioning is also excellent. I highly recommend and as soon as possible, we will be back.

Our stay at Duarte's cottage has been wonderful. We have been two couples with three dogs and we have all really enjoyed it. The house is completely rural, located on the outskirts of Campo Maior, in a very quiet area where you will not hear a single car. Very helpful Duarte at all times. Thank you so much, we will be back!!

Definitely a great fit for quiet days and away from the hustle and bustle. The home was very well equipped and taken care of. We really want to come back in the summer!

The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.

Exceptional treatment by the owners. We had to delay because we found a hold and they were waiting for us in the house with the heating turned on and the house conditioned. I would repeat again both by location and by treatment. Highly recommended

Spent three weeks in this charming house. Absolutely unique place. Situated in a hidden valley with beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks directly from the house, nothing other than natural sounds make relaxing in the garden a real pleasure and the lack of light pollution makes for stunning star gazing. Daniel is an excellent host for whom nothing is too much trouble. We loved staying here and would recommend it unreservedly.

Beautiful place and surroundings, cozy home with many rooms and plenty of space. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment aswell. The only thing to note, even though it was rented in winter time, was the state of the pool. We recommend at least covering the swimming pool.

The house was very clean and had lots of space. Some of the beds were very firm so we did have to trade rooms with one of our kids for a softer mattress. Overall a great house with plenty to explore in the area. Went to the local cheese shop and got great sight seeing recommendations from the worker. The Marble Museum had cool sculptures and info about the local areas history in extracting marble. The pool is not heated and was a little chilly in late September, but the kids still had fun.

Irene is a great host. Accommodation is very comfortable, with a privileged surroundings. Peace and quiet was what we were looking for, and we found it. Highly recommend. Thanks, Pedro and Maria

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

We loved the stay. We chose Pedro's house to spend a few days at the end of the year, and it was a great decision, the house and the surroundings are excellent. Very good for resting and hiking. Pedro, was a great host, was always very available, always providing useful information, and was very attentive to us. Experience to repeat, of course.

Exceptional accommodation, with everything you need for the comfort of guests. Highly friendly owner. Ease of using third-party aids. High privacy in all rooms, with their own bathrooms. To be repeated, no doubt!

This house is a little slice of heaven in the Portuguese countryside. We felt very at peace here and had two lovely nights. Google maps gave us awful instructions, do not take the tretourous path that seems more like a hiking trail to get to the house, go the long way around. The owner came and saved us though and the house exceeded our expectations and they gave us so many lovely treats. We will 100% return here again.

The hill is very beautiful and is very well maintained, furnished and decorated. Paula welcomed us with a wonderful coconut cake and an excellent bottle of Alentejo red wine. Water and coffee were available to us. We loved the days we spent at Monte Pinheiro! Many thanks for everything!

Great choice in the Campo Maior region right next to the Caia river. Due to some expansion works, we stayed at Casa do Moleiro, which has room for 2 couples + 2 children. Outside area and very pleasant pool beyond, of course, the river where you can ride by boat. The cherries at the top of the cake: the breakfast and the friendliness of host Vera... who brought him. Repeating!

Manuela received us with great sympathy and attention, his home is impeccable, the only negative was the comfort of the mattress, the rest was perfect. Thank you Manuela.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage which was warm and well equipped, the location was perfect for visiting Marvão and Castelo de vide. We pre ordered a meal for our arrival night which I highly recommend, the food and wine was delicious. Communication with the host was also very good, and the fresh daily bread was much appreciated.

All went well and Ines was very flexible and nice. Totally recommend the house. Spacious , nice garden and lovely outdoors. Very peaceful neighbourhood.

We'd love to come back, because we didn't want to leave. The house is very beautiful, decorated with great taste, very well equipped and is in a spectacular place! There is plenty to do around (the television has not even been turned on),from wandering in the wild (beware of the ticks), to visiting beautiful villages that exist around. A perfect place for active vacations, or resting with a nice glass of wine (or tea) and catching up while at night you can watch the stars.

Aida was an amazing host. She was very helpful, communicative and was very flexible with our check-in/check-out times and our intention for our stay. The place is incredible with a very large field in the countryside. It's a great place if you want to be in a peaceful place or if you want to bring your pets alongside you. Definitely recommend staying here.

We'll be back for a longer stay and tour of the national park.

The house is loving, pleasant space, well used and with the essentials. Great location in the center of the village, with several services very close by (restaurants cafes, mini-markets). The host was very responsive and friendly. The villa is beautiful! Pena have been quite cold during the period we went.
