Casa das Olarias is a 17th-century building, fully renovated in 2025 and carefully decorated to provide comfort and well-being. With three floors and electronic access at both the entrance and in each of its four bedrooms, this house combines the charm of historic architecture with the comfort of modernity. Located in the historic area of Castelo Branco, it benefits from a privileged location, allowing you to easily explore, on foot or by bicycle, the main tourist attractions of the city.

House of Schist in the center of Portugal

Three schist houses being restored at the village of Cunqueiros, in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova, form the Casas da Encosta project. Here it’s possible to relive the life history and culture of the region’s people in the comfort of a typical Portuguese village. According to the owner, Nuno Caldeira, the houses are being restored following the local construction tradition where schist, clay and wood are featured. One of them, Casa da Lagariça, has already opened.

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.

Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.
