The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

The Lake House

Wake to sunrise over the lake in this secluded tropical retreat. Beautifully designed modern Balinese-inspired house with marble tiled flooring throughout, carved wooden doors and volcanic rock walls, a unique tropical oasis in a truly unique setting. Lake views from every room of the house, effortless indoor-outdoor flow, lush tropical gardens brimming with wildlife. Close to the beach and the town centre, restaurants, shops etc. We can arrange a third (trundle) bed on request.

The Ants Nest

Relax with the whole family at this beach front cosy cottage. This fully renovated Queenslander is one of the first houses in Kurrimine. It is open plan and child friendly. Close to the playground, stinger net and within walking distance to all dining locations in Kurrimine. The cottage is beside the walking/cycling track. Once you arrive there is no need to drive anywhere. There is a fully fenced yard for your dog and plenty of space to park a couple of cars and a boat.

A place to restore and relax. The property backs onto a Rainforest corridor with access to the beach via a dedicated walking path, you could be dipping a toe into the ocean within a 10 minute walk!

The Point

Kick back and relax in our calm and stylish retreat, nestled amongst the rainforest with views to the ocean. Our much loved family cottage has been newly renovated with modern amenities. Please enjoy our homage to the history of beach-style hideaway, reminiscent of the 1950's in tropical Far North Queensland. We are close to many well known National Parks rainforest walks and Etty Bay which is a Qld Surf Life Saving patrolled beach with a stinger enclosure.

Bingil Bay Getaway

Adjoined by rainforest, our place is handily positioned between beautiful Bingil Bay Beach (200m) and the wonderful Bingil Bay Café (200m). The accommodation is the bottom part of a large Queenslander house with access to the pool and extensive gardens. With its own access and carport you are completely self sufficient but we are available to lend you bicycles or point you to the walking tracks. Be active or do nothing, we are private but not remote.

Beachside Retro shack

This rare find is a fully self-contained beach shack with heaps of character on a large private block. Just a 100 meter stroll to beautiful South Mission Beach and close access to coastal walking tracks and rainforest trails. Our simple, comfy retro shack has everything you need for a chilled out beachside stay. You can even bring your boat, there's plenty of room for a boat trailer on our block and river and beach boat ramps close by.

Beautiful Savannah Studio

Savannah Studio is beautiful and spacious (54 Sq mts). The upstairs studio has views over the pool, beach and palm fringed Coral Sea. It includes a comfortable king-sized bed, dining area, 4-seater couch and wall mounted TV to watch from the couch or bed. Its a short stroll to shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. A beautiful and quiet beach. An ideal place for a weekend getaway or longer stay.
