Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Casco Viejo, Ibaiondo

What a wonderful stay we had in your beautiful home! There was everything we needed including a fabulous shower with good water pressure and tons of hot water. It was like having a home away from home. We stayed for 5 weeks and explored the entire Basque region by car, from Santander to Burgos to Pamplona to San Sebastian and Bearritz/Bayonne. This home is centrally located and Berango itself offers a nice small town neighborhood feeling. The metro is close by but we found driving into Bilbao more convenient. It's also close to some fine beaches. Garbiña is a terrific host -- very friendly, funny and caring. We hope to return again.

Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Teresa nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Unterkunft war genauso, wie in der Beschreibung – wenn nicht sogar noch schöner. Alles war blitzsauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Gastfreundschaft: Teresa hat immer zügig geantwortet und den Check-in super unkompliziert gestaltet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank für diesen großartigen Aufenthalt – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

Super spot, close to the beach and not far from the center of Sopela! When we were there there was quite a bit of parking, so that was cool. I would recommend.

Mikel was very responsive and met us outside to drive with us into the car parking and to show us around the property.The apartment is as listed and is a short bus or subway drive to the center of Bilbao. Would highly recommended this property.

Estoy valorando Bilbao. Te parece este texto? Amplio, bien situado, limpio,.. algo escaso de mobiliario salón (solo sofá sin sillones) y faltan utensilios de cocina para cocinar para seis personas (cubertería y loza solo para seis). Un perchero vendría bien para abrigos.

We had a wonderful stay in Bilbao, thanks to Laura's place. As our week continued, we learned more and more about how perfect the neighborhood was as a launching pad for the city--right on the river, lots of great restaurants (which Laura was generous in recommending) nearby, really close to the tram, across the bridge from the old town, walking distance to the funicular. I could go on & on. The apartment itself was well-stocked & very comfortable!

Amazing place to stay for a large group. In the heart of the old town and super easy to get around. About a 20 minute taxi from the airport too. Javier was very responsive and explained everything before check in which meant we have 0 issues when we arrived. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the pictures and great space.

Notre séjour chez Eneko s’est très bien passé ! Il a été très arrangeant pour que nous puissions accéder à l’appartement. Tout était très propre et très beau. On s’est tout de suite sentie à l’aise. Les lit sont vraiment très confortables, nous avons vraiment super bien dormi.

Jurdan fue muy flexible y clara desde el inicio, su departamento está muy bien ubicado, queda en una calle de muchos bares, pero el ruido no llegaba hasta el departamento. Las camas son muy cómodas y el baño también.

La casa è arredata con molto gusto, è molto funzionale con tutto il necessario nuovo e pulito. La pulizia impeccabile. Noi in 4 ( 2 bambini) siamo stati molto comodi. È vicinissima al mercato della Ribeira, ai supermercati, bar e ristoranti. Si prendono comodamente i mezzi pubblici ma è vicinissima da tutto anche a piedi. Gli host super disponibili e gentili. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e la consigliamo senza dubbio.

Ainara was a super helpful, insightful and friendly host. Always responsive and kind, Ainara was the best host imaginable on our first trip to Bilbao with my little cousin. The location of her apartment flat and the amenities were just great! She provided us with tea and coffee which was perfect :) I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you!

The apartment was well decorated, clean and very spacious. Located on a quiet street in the Old Town and close to loads of great bars and restaurants. Would recommend walking the short walk to the Plaza Nueva for some wine and pinxtos!

Great location in old town. The apartment is very spacious and had all amenities. Everything you need is a walk away. Highly recommend. Check in was a little complicated. I would recommend using Apple Maps to go to the actual address provided. Something about using google maps did not work. As long as host provides pictures it’s easy to find.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et conseillés par Mercedes. Le logement est grand et confortable à deux pas des lignes de bus et de métro pour aller au centre ville. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec nos enfants.

Departamento muy bonito! Lugar muy tranquilo. Anfitriona responde muy rápidamente muy amable . Nos movimos para el centro de Bilbao en metro creo que es lo mejor, puntual, se llega en 30 minutos al casco histórico. Dejamos el auto estacionado en la calle cerca del departamento. Cama muy cómoda. Cocina con vajilla para cocinar y demás. Muy muy recomendable!!

Nahi is a great hostess! She accomodated my late arrival and was kind to bring some stuff for my cat. The apartment is spacious and neat, contains all necessary things to make you feel like home. The area is quite and cozy with some local shops and bars nearby. Highly recommend if you want to stay outside of busy city centre, and do not mind exploring Bilbao's surroundings.

We stayed at Roberto's place on our trip to Bilbao and we loved it. It is not in the centre of Bilbao but it is right next to the metro and can be in Bilbao city centre/old town very quickly. The flat was tidy and had everything we needed, including a nice outdoor terrace area to relax on nice summer evenings. To address what other reviews have said, it is a bit loud at times but we never had any trouble when it came to bedtime and often found ourselves enjoying the noise of the hustle and bustle of the Basque streets. Parking was a little difficult but we always managed to find a spot. Roberto was very communicative and helped us find the apartment easily. Overall we would recommend this as a place to stay for your trip to Bilbao
