I fell in love with this place the last time I stayed here. Being able to wake up looking at the beautiful lake is the best part. The location is great as it’s not in the busy part of town which is part of the peacefulness I enjoy the most about this place. The host has clear instructions and the place is always cleaned well. Cozy, comfy and probably my favorite spot. Will be returning again!

loved the view Pros: lovely view right from your room and balcony clean modern and updated fire pit was private with a view and nice lights along the fence bed comfortable loved that there was a separate door to use the toilet, although the space is very tight. But it allows one person to use the toilet in private while another can use the sink Kayak rentals sauna dock to bring your own boat cons: tight parking lot beach has no sand kitchen has no wine glasses have to clean dishes BBQ area and BBQ needs to be cleaned lots of bird droppings on balcony railing. maybe clean this twice a year or so Would stay again. Next time, we may bring our boat to moor. Awesome access to the water

As everyone else says, the view is amazing. The whole property in general is a great space. Suite 3 isn’t as private. It is overlooking the parking lot and potentially people could see in but the lodge is small so not many people around in the winter.

An incredible place. We can’t say enough about Morningstone and its hosts. This home has been built with love and care and it was a pleasure to have stayed there. Greg and Dorothy are so gracious and kind. Our stay on the island would not have been so special if not for our hosts’ vast knowledge of the islands history and its beautiful spots. Our only hope is that we can return for another stay one day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Mary and Josh's Eagle River B&B! We were lucky to meet Mary upon arrival so we got a personal tour of the house and property. It was exactly as advertised and then some! Because there were no other guests at the time, we had full access to the house. The beautiful kitchen was very well equipped. The amazing Mason fireplace kept the house warm and cozy and Mary made sure to check in on it while we were skiing. Much appreciated. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days at the mountain. Mary and Josh were available for any questions or concerns that we had. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us. We'd love to return one day!

We were on our way from Jasper to Vancouver and couldn’t have found a better spot to recharge. What was meant to be a quick stop turned into an extended stay — that’s how peaceful and special this place felt. The story behind the house, the thoughtful design of the property, the warmth of the host, and the charm of the surrounding town all came together to create something truly memorable. Every minute spent here felt right. It was the kind of place where you instantly feel grounded and connected. We’re already looking forward to coming back — it’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after you leave.

What a wonderful place and what an awesome host Paige is. This is the getaway we needed. Our family has been going through some rough moments with our 14 son. This was a spontaneous trip away from the noise of living in a city and we are so grateful we were led to Paige’s home. She is welcoming, friendly, an inspiration, and most of all, a great conversationalist! She has an amazing life and after hearing her stories, the tepee was magical to lay in. Looking up to watch the breeze rustle the leaves against the moonlit sky, I thought of all the prayers, all the fires, the wisdom this tepee has held and it was all peaceful for our hurting heart. You are soothed into a slumber by the sounds of riverside woods. Morning started with a rooster in the far distance, and songbirds welcoming the rising sun. Huckleberry(hand picked )pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee. Colorful Polish pottery adorned our table. Butter, real maple syrup. The works! You must love dogs like we do! Come hear Paige

Alan was incredibly responsive and welcoming. The home was immaculate and exactly what our family was looking for. We would definitely visit this home again.

This weekend stay was just about getting a room near the lake to go fishing and instead my partner and I left with the most memorable experience of warmth, happiness and laughter. As soon as we arrived we were greeted like family. The Airbnb is even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Our amazing hosts made us feel so comfortable to the point that we looked forward to interacting more with them during our stay and when they told us about breakfast... I'm not a morning eater but that next day just wow!!! Mind blown delicious and beautifully set up like having Thanksgiving/Christmas with family and friends. we will 100% be returning for our future lake trips.

Awesome place to stay! We will be returning! The suite was excellent and had everything me and my family needed. The hosts were so inviting, friendly and helpful. Mt Baldy is such a gem of a ski hill.

Cute little Inn. I would recommend it to others. We rented out the entire place for a wedding in the area and all of the guests appreciated the proximity and the comfortable beds! My room had some hot/cold water fluctuations when showering in but nothing horrible. Overall, it was a good place to stay! Michela was very responsive and friendly.

Pictures do not do this incredible cabin justice. This home was all that we could have hoped for and more! Our children are still talking about it days later! Our experience and time with our children and their significant others was the best because of this incredible home. Rooms were spacious, beds were extremely comfy, the kitchen was fit for a gourmet chef, had every possible thing we could have hoped for, the outdoor fire-pit/outdoor area was simply magical, & much closer to the house than it looks in the pictures. Hot tub was also much closer to the house than it looked and impeccably maintained. We have been renting homes for years on Mt. Hood, this is by far the most coziest, most spacious, most well equipped, most grand & most inviting home we have ever rented!! Thank you for sharing your home!! We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Wonderful little space and location right in town! It suited our needs perfectly and I'd recommend it over a hotel in town.

Such a beautiful, unique property and space that Mike has created. From the stunning cabins, to the idyllic riverfront beach, to the perfect outdoor kitchen and amazing fire pit and lawn, this special place has all that you will need to celebrate with your friends and family. I will always remember the roaring bonfires and delicious meals shared here on my birthday with my best friends. We will return!

We just stayed the night but did have a short visit with Johanna and John. We enjoyed the stay.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful! They’ve done a great job with this tiny old motel. A great spot to rest just off of 80. The trains do come by multiple times a night so it’s a good idea to use the provided ear plugs.

We stayed in this beautiful home for our wedding weekend and it truly exceeded all expectations. It was the perfect space to host our friends and family- we loved that we could all be together in one place, while still enjoying the comfort and privacy of what felt like individual homes. Each room had its own cozy living space and kitchen, which made everyone feel right at home. The walk to the beach was quick and easy and we were spoiled with stunning ocean views right from the property. The home itself is full of charm and has such a warm, inviting feel- it made our special weekend even more memorable. Another huge plus: the location! Its nestled perfectly between Cannon Beach and Manzanita, so exploring either town was just a short, scenic drive away. The host was incredibly kind and responsive and they made it easy for us to extend our stay by an extra day. We couldn't have asked for a better place or experience- were so grateful we found this gem!

Great place, as described. If you’re looking for something simple and private to get some rest on the way by. This is a good place. Take note as described if your a light sleeper, This place may be a challenge.
