Everything about our stay was brilliant, Seynabou was really kind and flexible when it came to our check out. The place is lovely and just as described. There are many restaurants and places you can walk to. The apartment is very warm but there is an air con and a fan which work perfectly. The hosts were really clear in their instructions and where happy to help in any way they could, very responsive. Definitely definitely recommend. Thank you so much!

I would definitely recommend staying here. I had a great stay, with a helpful and hoslitable host. Central location, but quiet at night. Everything you need is in the Apartment. Great place for travelers who want to visit The Gambia!

Wow! Such a beautiful home and setting- smart, clean, spacious. Communicating with Amelia prior to our arrival was easy and she was very accomodating. Buba and Ansum were excellent host support; Buba picked us up from the airport to take us to the house and was also helpful in getting us around and about whilst there, and Ansum, who lives on the site grounds was available 24/7 to asssist with any house queries. We felt super safe and secure at the property with both Buba and Ansum being extremely trustworthy and reilable. My family and I would have no hesitation in coming back to stay there and reccommend it as a perfect family holiday house where you will instantly feel at home. Thank you to all.

Wonderful! Our stay at Bruno‘s house was wonderful from A to Z! Bruno sent somebody to pick us up at the airport. We got to his house for sunset: the place is absolutely gorgeous and really felt like paradise. He has really nice, very eclectic decoration and paint/color schemes. You’re in the pool looking at the beautiful sand beach or on the beach basically alone with your family and a few cows once in a while. Bruno was a perfect host: super responsive and laid back, giving us full privacy and even letting us stay when our flight was moved to late afternoon instead of morning, (careful with the reliability of flights……!). Very little pollution and plastic, unlike other parts of Senegal. This was the best Airbnb stay I’ve had and I really felt on vacation as did my whole family including two teenagers and a nine-year-old! Worth every penny — don’t hesitate. Bruno recommended Fred who was also great & brought us to a fascinating, traditional dialo village up the mangrove.

Maimuna’s apartment in Barakah Estate is exactly as shown on the pictures. However, the pictures do not show how large the place really is. We loved the space and the veranda. Omar the security guy was very kind and helpful. He even went to the corner store to buy me sugar for my coffee. Very kind young man indeed. Lastly, the maid was kind and friendly. She was helpful as she offered to do my laundry and kept the apartment very clean. The only caveat would be that there is construction going on daily in the neighborhood so it can be noisy during the day time hours. All in all, this was a good stay and I would recommend Maimuna’s apartment for anyone coming to the Gambia for short term or long term stays. She made us feel at home.

It has been my 4th visit in the blue house. And i have enjoyed my stay there again. Its a quite place near the Airport . Very comfortable. I'm sure that i will come back.

This place is really a very nice place to stay while you visit Gambia, you really get the privacy they promise, a local Gambia family lives at the condo whom are responsible for the security and gardening. Another Gambia guy will pick you at the airport, and he will arrange anything you need, and is also a perfect guide when you want to do a trip. The condo is in Bijilo area, not far from the beach, but a 10 minutes walk is slightly underestimated in my opinion, but the beach itself is very nice, if you want to go the beach once. The Senegambia strip is only a few minutes by taxi. The garden is in good condition, with a swimming pool which is very big and cool and maintained everyday and you don't need to share it with other people. Sunbeds and umbrella's are available, although due to the moving sun we needed to move the sunbeds very often to get into shade, which is no-one to blame I think. The appartement were clean and decently equipped with a bathroom, with toilet, hot water shower and a sink.The bedrooms have enough storage a good bed and air conditioning. The Kitchen is very well equipped, it has everything you need, we even tried the bbq. We didn't meet the host Annie in person since she does not live in the Gambia, but I liked all contact I have had with Annie she provided us with a lot of information in advance, and I felt that she really wanted us to have a pleasant stay and instructed the local team to make that happen, I know she checked with them everyday if we we doing well. I really do recommend this place, I have had a much better experience than staying in a hotel/resort.
