Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Carroll County

This little house in the mountains was just perfect for our stop from Ohio to South Carolina. The views were spectacular and the inside was so cozy and charming. Rebecca was great with communication and sent us so many ideas and activities to check out in the surrounding areas. We’ll definitely be staying again in the future!

For sure will return. Would be great for large or medium sized groups. Can't wait to return in warmer months.

All I can say is "Wow!" I've stayed in a lot of nice homes, but this was one of the best! This is a newly built home and the place was immaculate. The appliances were high-end, as was seemingly everything in this home, and it had one of the most well-appointed kitchens I've seen. Everything I needed was within arms reach! There were so many nice touches throughout that made me and my dogs feel so welcome. They had treats for pups and humans, they had a wide selection of k-cups for morning coffee on the covered patio, the bed was comfortable, and they had several board games to be enjoyed. Besides the beautiful home, the setting was serene and gave me a chance to relax after a very stressful day and my dogs enjoyed the fenced in back yard after hours in the car. I stayed for only one night and my only regret is that I didn't stay longer!

We were very satisfied with the home. Angela was responsive to all questions in a timely manner. There is a large herd of deer frequenting the property and we enjoyed watching the yearlings play in the yard.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

Great place to hide away for a few days....quiet and private. Good location as far as getting to near towns of Floyd and Stuart. Comfortable house.

It was lovely this time of year. The hyacinths and daffodils were blooming all around the house. It was such a beautiful setting. Horses were next door in the field and a little creek running behind the house. The location was just a few blocks from the main part of town. Lisa responded quickly when I texted her and was very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, but close to town and the interstate, this is the place for you.

Absolutely perfect host and beautiful home! No complaints whatsoever and we will definitely be returning in the future!

John was very easy to work with - helpful with local information! The kitchen was beyond stocked with everything you might need to cook almost any meal! There was a LOT of stairs to get to the house - but we were told that in advance so really no surprises. The views were second to none!

Our stay at the Roost was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the river access and hung out down there a couple of times. One of our favorite things was the lack of a TV. It added to the unplugged rustic experience we enjoy. Thank you Michael for sharing your space with us.

Cynthia’s ABB was probably the cleanest, most comfortable, most enjoyable ABB experience we have had. She is a great communicator and she and her family are right downstairs in her Home Decorating shop. We stayed in the back unit which was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay at this very nice unit. The living room and kitchen are very spacious and designed to be thoughtfully accommodating. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms have useful up-to-date features. My stay was very relaxing and the interior had a loft-like feeling which I love.

I could live there. Minimalist decor which suits me but has everything you could want. Huge comfortable sofas, fully equipped kitchen, room bathroom. Bedroom had lots of storage and great bed. Extremely quiet, free and plentiful parking.
