Artist's House is situated in the charming medieval village of Maranola overlooking the Gulf of Gaeta. A beautiful garden between mountains and sea; a room carved into the rock. One hour by train and car from Napoli and Roma. Please note: we don’t have self check-in, because we like to meet and welcome you in person. Therefore the check-in times is strict and only possible in the afternoon between 3 and 8pm. We can try to accommodate different times of requested fairly in advance. Thank you

Beautifully restored house from 1914. 2 bedrooms each with a king-size bed. 1 mezzanine bedroom, not suitable for young children. 1 bathroom with shower, sink and toilet upstairs. Outdoor shower. Storage room with large fridge and freezer. Separate toilet. Dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, soft sheets and high quality towels and pool towels. Breathtaking view of the valley of the Trigno. Private pool (open from april till november). High quality garden furniture and two parasols.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: THERE ISN’T WI-FI!!! Excellent position close to Naples (40 km) and Pozzuoli. Both cities are linked by ferry with Ischia, Procida and Capri. The gulf of Gaeta is only 30 min by car. The house, completely independent, is 50 sqm large and has a unique view in front of the sea, and a huge garden of mediterranean vegetation. The house is well illuminated and comfortable, with classy finishes. Is also possible to reach the beach that is 500m far from the house!

Stunning cottage surrounded by nature

Vittorio's place was amazing. The area is even more beautiful than in the pictures, and it really does feel away from it all. The house was very comfortable—Vittorio thought of everything in equipping the house, way beyond the listed amenities. Also, he took care to clean the pool every single morning, and did that super early: we were waking up pretty early ourselves, and we still never saw him do it. As a host, Vittorio was an active communicator and went out of his way to make sure our stay was easy and comfortable. For example, he personally guided us to the house from town, which was not necessary (we found it pretty easy to get around Agnone) but still very helpful. Also, for our kids, this place was a real winner. They didn't want to leave! They had a pool to themselves, got to visit horses everyday, watched fireflies at night, and just had a fun time outside. It was wonderful!
