It is a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring Big Sur, the many exquisite golf courses or the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It is within two miles of top-notch wineries and great restaurants in Carmel Valley Village. It's a 25 minute drive to Carmel-by-the-Sea and 30 minute drive to the Monterey Peninsula. Not suitable for children.

Carmel By the Canyon

Our studio is located in Carmel, less than a mile from the town center. The house faces out over Hatton Canyon and affords a private rural setting yet close to Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, etc. 15 Minute walk to Carmel downtown. A hub to explore Big Sur and all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Due to certain regulatory changes regarding minimum stay, the dates you are requesting may not be available. While we prefer longer stays, do make an inquiry to us about the dates you want.

The home is in a very quiet, peaceful, rural setting. Enjoy the fresh air, and the sunlight through the beautiful oaks.

Zen feeling at ‘Life is Good’, a treehouse overlooking Hitchcock Canyon:) Our driveway is long and steep! Parties, loud gatherings are not allowed. 9:00 pm quiet time outside! Extra guest fee $100.00 per person. Pets are welcome; we do have a $50.00 pet fee. Yard is Not fully fenced! No smoking allowed on property. No candles, fires or flames at all. Three car maximum: parking is very limited. Park cars parallel to each other.
