Roy's place was the best!! Very close to La Fortuna yet it was tucked away and peaceful. The hot tub was awesome to have and there were all kinds of beautiful birds in the backyard throughout the day. Roy himself was great too! He made us some delicious margaritas at his bar the night we got there and brought us a fresh pot of coffee from his house when we realized our coffee maker wasn't working. He also replaced the machine later that day! Couldn't recommend this place more!

This cabin was beautiful, and exactly how it was described. We had a great 2 night stay, everything in town was easily accessible. The hot tub on the balcony was so nice with a great view. David was also very kind and responsive! This place is definitely a 10/10

This is the most ideal place to stay to disconnect from the world and connect with nature . Host are amazing. It’s so private . Make sure to take food and everything you need for the stay . It’s hard to get in and out kinda scary .

This place is a real hidden gem. The cabin is cozy, private and has everything you need to disconnect: pool, jacuzzi, hammock, fire pit… and a river just steps away! Communication with the host was excellent and check-in was super easy. Everything was clean, well cared for and full of rustic details that make it even more special. Ideal for a romantic getaway. I'd come back a thousand times! 🌿✨

We loved our stay at Magdalena’s house. It was like a private tropical paradise and Magdalena is the perfect host. Max planned our excursions for us and was SO helpful. The house was lovely but the backyard was amazing. The house features a wrap around porch with a comfy couch and chairs and large outdoor dining table. There is a separate large outdoor kitchen area with grills, additional seating and a hot tub. The infinity pool is steps away. The view from all vantage points is breathtaking and the grounds are landscaped beautifully. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean with rain showers and plenty of hot water. The AC worked perfectly and kept us cool. Esmeralda came daily and even did our dishes and laundry. The house is a 40 minute drive to the Arenal area. The main roads into La Fortuna were well maintained. The drive was long but easy. Shopping was a bit of a challenge but there are local “supermarkets” and a Maxi Pali in La Fortuna. Enjoy!

This place is awesome. Secluded yet right by everything. The tree frogs come out at night and sing you to sleep and the tropical birds awake you in the morning. There is a bit of a construction site near by, so a bit of noise if you like to sleep in, but nothing too major. You can walk anywhere in town that is necessary, but we had a car and found parking easy and convenient. Host was responsive the whole time and extremely helpful. The hot tub made this place feel truly amazing. 10/10 recommend

A simply dream accommodation that totally exceeded our expectations. A place to stay in El to connect with your partner and nature. The sound of the river and the coquí was the most relaxing. The photos don't do justice to how beautiful the property is. We're definitely going back. The best weekend for couples

Listen use google maps for this one, trust me. This is an amazing place and the host some of the best in Costa Rica. Do not hesitate for a moment. It was one of my favorite stays.

Very good AirBnB, even if you definitely need a 4x4 car to get there. I was also greeted by a black street dog who watched over me all night in front of the door😁. Communication with the owner went very well.

A beautiful, private feeling accommodation in a very safe location which is easily walkable to restaurants and shops. You will feel secluded in nature with the birds and the squirrels but also have all the conveniences and comforts you want. Silvia was really responsive and let me into the accommodation as soon as it was ready which helped with my early arrival. Note that although the place is quite private there is a soccer field not far which sometimes had people there quite late so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

We stayed one night. More would have been ok too, there is much to discover around it. From the terrace, we were able to watch a fishing cucan and other birds. It was very idyllic. Very quiet location (only nature can be heard). If you don't have a 4x4, you prefer to park upstairs and do not drive down to the house.

This place is a hidden gem. Irene is one of a kind; always willing to help, very responsive and super super kind. I will be back for sure. Gracias, Irene por toda tu ayuda y amabilidad!

This was such a great first stop on our costa rica trip! It was an easy and beautiful drive from the San Jose airport. We had clear and helpful directions and the views were amazing. We would absolutely stay again! Our kids loved the play house, swings, and (although it scared mama a little) they loved the hammock off the master. The master bed was super comfortable and all the windows had stunning views. Loved it 🫶🏼

Place is very beautiful, and DO take advantage of the nearby beach - it's hard to spot but it's really easy to get to and is only a 10 min walk. Cons: the stone staircase leading to the house might be hard for some people with disabilities to climb - it was no problem for us, but if you are physically disabled, I suggest mentioning it to the host so that they can prepare a solution. I also felt a bit overwhelmed with the volume of daily messages from host, but on the flip side, they were always available for questions and would reply almost immediately. Overall the place is exactly how it looks on the pictures and the cook Katia was fabulous. We ran out of food on our last day and Katia's husband graciously offered to shop for us, which was a very nice surprise and greatly appreciated. 10/10 would come back.

If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind or just have some quiet time, this is the ideal a location. We have been talking on-and-off about staying here for at least 2 years, and now that we finally made it we didn't want to leave. Everything from the view to the actual amenities is just perfection, and the design of the cabin takes full advantage of the gorgeous landscape. Gizelle and her team have done a phenomenal job of putting this place together, and adding some nice touches on top of that. There is also the added benefit of being very proximate to the La Vigie Paramin Lookout, which only takes the views to another level. We will definitely be staying here again.

A very special place. Treasure Beach is amazing and has such a great vibe, and staying at Drew's cabin was definitely an excellent choice. The cabin is perfect and clean, with a quiet air conditioner. The highlight is the shower! I highly recommend it.

Louise's place was so beautiful, we had a great time there. The cabin is so tastefully done and so much thought has been put into it. We loved all of it, particularly the outdoor shower and terrace. Louise was such a brilliant host, really helpful & communicative. It is a good position for exploring the rest of the island as everything is around 30 mins away, but you do need a car and the road to the airbnb is pretty bad so you would want a decent car to do it in!

Bertram has a very nice place. It was quiet and we liked to jump and snorkle in the clear water.

The cabin is located in a wonderful location close to the waterfall. Communication was easy and smooth

I cannot recommend this stay enough! We were greeted when we arrived with a warm welcome and a kind host who showed us to our cabin and answered all our questions. The place was super clean, absolutely stunning, and the views were incredible. Inside the cabin, there were helpful instructions, fun games, yoga mats, and lots of amenities. Our favorite part was the viewpoint which was a short walk from our place and had a cute bar. We got a couple drinks from the bar and the handyman/bartender was so kind and started a bonfire for us. Ending the night watching the lights of the city and drinking a cold beer next to a bonfire was just the most amazing end to a perfect stay. This place exceeded our expectations, we will be back!!

I had my eye on Terryon’s place for a really long time. My excitement was indeed satisfied. As a city girl who loves and prefers the countryside, this was prefect for me. After a long day of Kingston’s traffic once I came through the gates of her property it was like a brand new day has started. Both the exterior and interior design nothing short of amazing. A property you’d have to experience yourself.

A great airbnb with great responsive and accommodating hosts! 10/10 would recommend!!
